asking for advice so, im in a relationship with this guy,amazing guy, provider mindset, serious relationship..etc. i met him through a friend of ours, whom I was talking to before (I never showed any romantic interest to him) he happens to be my boyfriend's best friend, this guy was saying things like "you're precious" teasing me about my eyes and saying he likes them, calling me beautiful..comparing himself to my boyfriend about areas he's also good at..etc, i recently found out that this guy was telling fake things about me to my boyfriend, to make me look bad. which the latter told me about and jokingly labeled his friend crazy. I told him i think it's weird he was saying those things and he told me that he can't mix between his friends and his girlfriend. the problem is that this guy and my boyfriend are working on a mutual project which is very important to my future with my boyfriend, and he was so eagerly waiting to make it happen. so it's a weird situation. what do you guys think? am i just being cynical?should i tell my boyfriend about this, or just ignore it? I really don't want to ruin their friendship or anything.
