My captain has left for navy bootcamp, words cannot describe how proud I am of him. He’s worked so hard and has come so far, I’m happy to see him go. As his first mate it’s my job to support him, no matter how hard it may be. My captain is my life line, without him I am nothing, he is my purpose. With him being gone for the next two months with little contact (letters only, I just sent one, waiting for him to receive it), the thought of him and our future is constantly running through my mind. So much, that I can’t sleep. He’s been gone for almost a week now, and while my heart hurts, I know I will be strong for him. I miss him so much, the absence of him holding me is all I can think about at night. I can’t fall asleep without the tv on now, otherwise I cry. I’m wondering if anyone maybe has some suggestions on how to sleep better with the absence of my captain? Thank you
