Exactly! I feel like the poster was referring to the 'doormat' type of man who would be easily intimidated by women.

Femininity is attractive to all men. A sweet, gentle, kind, generous, fit, dressed, reserved woman will not be rejected by whole categories of men. Even if she's a 11/10, out of everyone's league except Brad Pitt, her behavior is going to shine and her personality will draw men in, alpha and beta.
Men who are beta or who exhibit beta behavior don't understand why their behavior gets them rejected or friend zones but they do recognize value when they see it. I can drive by a car dealership and tell the more expensive cars from the used trade-ins. I might not be able to afford to buy one but I'm not pretending they're clunkers.

A feminine woman will not intimidate a man. She will attract many men, alpha and beta. She has options, she doesn't need to justify her lack of options. She cultivates her feminine, soft, desirable traits so the things men notice about her will be attractive.
The betas will be attracted to her, albeit as a mother figure or something, but they'll still be drawn.
A gentle demeanor, a friendly smile, modesty, generosity, a hot body, good housekeeping habits, sobriety, kind words, being encouraging and loyal. How intimidating does that sound? Know many men who will go running in the opposite direction from that?
Men are rejecting you but it is NOT because you're red pill. You're being rejected and ignored or spurned by men because you're not desirable. Start working.

A feminine woman will not be intimidating to men. I get what you're saying though, but hear me out.
There's a difference between being attractive and intimidating and being repulsive. In person, a repulsive woman will assume she's intimidating or tell herself so because men are literally repulsed by her masculinity and bitchiness.
You don't have to be so ass-backward a female as to make believe you want a eunuch for a mate in the name of your super-power-feminism in order to be undesirable or overtly blue pill or whatever.
All females, whether they admit it or not, want an alpha man. Nt all women deserve one though. Most women don't do jack to make themselves wanted by an alpha. They still want one though. They demand it.
This is entitlement. Rpw don't really encourage this because it's delusional to think you can be a bitch and a good man will want you and that "you're weeding out the week ones."
Can't you see how being a mega-bitch feminist, entitled, delusional Princess is easier to rename "intimidating" so you don't feel the conviction to have to work on it?
None of the beautiful, gracious, submissive, capable, red pill women I've ever known in real life or met on here have ever been accused of being intimidating. It's a masculine trait. The end.
If you think this quote is a nice way of saying Betas to the left, Alphas to the Right, you're just lying to yourself about what it is a woman worthy of a good man aught to be, and you aren't it. And you're not doing the work and you're not ready to do the work.

Beta men are not intimidated by feminine women. They pedestalize. More awe-struck by. Women are intimidated by strong men and disgusted by weak men. (so much passive voice in trying to match original language). Women find strong men intimidating in some way. Not the other way around.
I understand the point made here about how "real men" are not intimidated. But not-real men are also not intimidated. That's generally not what we men experience. Most men respond to femininity in the same way. But men respond to masculine women in different ways, by submitting, by fighting to dominate, or in some rare cases because women rarely work this way, by collaborating.

Maybe. Also might be that men like that give in and surrender power, knowing that the woman can use it to grant or deny. I think I see your point. Goes back to power and that a woman usually doesn't want to be the one in charge, and knowing that a man does not submit to her helps with that dynamic.
The word intimidation doesn't seem to fit, though. I wouldn't call that the experience.
edit: If you're considering this kind of situation as a filtering criteria, I still think it doesn't quite work as intimidation. Because if a man is intimidated, there's some aspect of him that is threatened by a power he cannot wield. Men like that tend do be more parasitic and dependent. Instead of bringing value to the table, they try and grab something for themselves. So the underlying experience is not quite intimidation, but a desire to control the other and claim that for oneself at the other's expense. To me, intimidation is more about fear and anxiety and less about the dynamic I described. Maybe I'm just splitting semantic hairs here

men being intimidated by "strong, independent" women with college degrees and careers is a feminist concept. it doesn't actually depict reality.

Agreed. Boys can be intimidated by women, but not men.

This is just the same sort of bullshit that gets posted on facebook, "real men ___".

Well, of course. I googled the source to make sure it wasn't another little Monroe turd. However, it does resonate with me a little; it reminds me of my angsty high school days when I intimidated all the boys at my school before they finished puberty.

HAHA. You are perfection.

Yes because obviously when a man finds gobby women gross he's "intimidated"

UGGGHHH. Why do people keep deleting their posts?! This would have been a fun discussion.
[–]Disappear_vanish 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It was a quote that said basically, "I'm a real woman and most men are intimidated by me, so I know they're not worth my time because betas can't handle a real woman like me!"
