I'm trying to work on my self-esteem and some other emotional issues from my past. One thing I've found to be difficult while still trying to be a RPW is that I feel like when I'm completely confident, it's less attractive? But I may just be thinking of this wrong.

Men like when women are pliable, submissive, and easy-going in conversation. So doesn't that mean that on some level women must always be slightly insecure? Because to be pliable would mean you're at least a little insecure, right?

Because of recent events in my life I'm finding it hard to be very pliable in conversation with my SO. I used to be this way easily, but I went through very traumatic experiences and it's caused me to want to be nothing but very serious and stoic -- anything else makes me feel like I'm loosing too much control and becomes retraumatizing. It's a delicate situation. I'm feeling like a horrible and boring wife because I can't provide my husband with someone fun and laid back.

I'm just wondering what other's thought are, is it true that women always must be a little insecure to be more attractive in relationships?

I'm hoping to be able to use this knowledge to help me down the road when I'm in a less psychologically delicate situation and can be more myself with my SO.

Thanks <3
