Hi Ladies-
I am going through a divorce as a result of my soon to be ex husband's affair.
I can look back over my marriage (15 years married- together for 19) and know where some of my mistakes were. I definitely have some fault in the way things turned out.
I am on a mission of self discovery/improvement right now (taking new classes, expanding my career, changing my style a little, doing a little traveling) and am starting to consider dating in the next few months.
Before I look at dating I thought I might ask some advice. It's been a long time - I was 20 when I met my ex and 23 when we married.
I'm just a bit unsure as the where to even start. I do not want to spend the rest of my life alone, but I also realize that my SMV is automatically low because I'm pushing 40 and now have children. I can accept that reality - It's just the way it works.
I am in good shape physically. I'm feminine- love heels, skirts, make-up and such when I'm out. I cook a lot! So there are some pluses :).
Anyhow- any suggestions on how to go about dating again would be appreciated.
