Full text: Im so sorry if this isn’t what this is used for but I need help.

I had unprotected sex for the first time on thursday while on my period. There was no ejaculation before or during it (it was short lived because I stopped it due to getting scared)

I went down a rabbit hole of reading things online about people getting pregnant due to precum and i’m terrified.

I personally don’t want to take an emergency contraceptive because I can barely afford it and I don’t know what it will do to me or if the window has passed to use it.

I’m so scared please any advice or opinons are wanted

On articles they have to say that pregnancy is possible, because theoretically it is possible so it would be irresponsible not to.

But realistically it's very unlikely since sperm can only survive for 5 days before ovulation and the average woman ovulates around day 14, meaning they couldn't get pregnant on their period unless it lasts longer than a week. Some women do ovulate earlier, which could be the case if your menstrual cycle is under 25 days. But you'd basically have to be an anomaly in multiple areas so the probability is very low (obviously don't rely on that in future though!)

Girl if you’re that scared just take a plan b for 35$ at Walmart with coupon online. Remember plan b only works when you’re not ovulating and only PUSHES ovulation to another date IF YOU’RE NOT OVULATING ALREADY. I’m sure you can grift someone here for more than that 35$.
