Hello, r/RedPillWomen!

I'm a late-twentysomething late bloomer who is just now starting to come into my own in confidence, poise, and maturity; as such, I have not yet chosen to be in a relationship, but I'm trying to learn as much as I can so I can be prepared for it when the time comes.

Reading your sub (and related others) has piqued my interest. A lot of the advice I've seen here has focused on the "Captain / First Mate" dynamic. I think I have an idea of what it's getting at, but I'm missing certain "this is how it works out in real life" details.

So, to help me understand better, I'm wondering: In what ways do you and your SO complement each other? In other words, what specific strengths do you bring to the table that he lacks, and vice versa? How, specifically, does your SO take advantage of the strengths you bring to the table as he leads your relationship? How do you take advantage of his strengths? (Men are welcome to respond, too; just change the questions appropriately.)

Looking forward to hearing what everybody has to say!
