I've accidentally discovered this subreddit through the random button. I've read a few of the sidebar items, and I've had some conflicting reactions to it.

A lot of what is stated makes sense, in a hyperbolic sort of way. I understand that dealing irrationality and emotional behavior is a frustration that is relevant toward any human interaction. And in the scope of mating, that interaction would be with women.

I am philosophically opposed to what almost seems to be a dehumanization of a gender, but I am a slave to empiricism. I don't really know what the evidence is, and I think it would be beside the point to try and find it. I am neither validating nor denying the "teachings" of the read pill, I am claiming that this aspect is irrelevant to my interests.

I am not interested in sleeping around. I am not interested in "gaming" someone into a relationship. I'm not all that interested in sex until after I have established a long term relationship (which I understand to be liability in itself.) What I seek in a relationship is a stable and equal partnership, a premise that is implicitly rejected in favor of an efficient and more effective approach at meeting women. I'm not here to look for relationship advice because my goals are not necessarily in line with the material here.

I think that the focus on mating is counter-productive. I like the attitude, but not the focus. By saturating the subreddit with material on how to get women, we still allow (at least the concept of) women to define our focus. What I am looking for, for lack of a better term, is a red pill style male empowerment subreddit. Not with the focus of sex and mating, but independence and growth.

Is this the place for that, or is there somewhere similar?
