If you are seeking sex, pay for the absolute minimal, at all exchanges you are the prize. end of story. if pressured, go with the you buy this round and I'll get the next, drink up then move to a new set.

IF in search of a long term relationship, you pay for dinner if you ask her to dinner . No matter what they say, women are security seeking creatures, (which is why they are attracted to strong confident men), and feeling safe is part of it. You must balance this, but no longer need to keep the full selfish frame.

If she suggests or invites for lunch/dinner, play it up a bit for her to pay.

It's actually fine to buy her a drink on the first date. I mean, honestly, it helps to break the ice because it's a conversation starter. "Oh you're a rum drinker? That's cool."

Also, it shows I have some money to play with right off the bat. I'm sure she has some too, but I like to get the ball rolling.
