As a child I was bullied, abused physically and emotionaly/psychologicaly, suicidal and depressed. My feminist mother kept me inside to protect me from other men who were dangerous rapist, from all the dangers of the outside world and did her best to prevent me from getting a girlfriend. I spent all my childhood being locked in my bedroom and abused. I became overweight and developped almost autistic symptoms because I had to dissociate completely from reality in order to go through it. You could punch me, yell at me, I wouldn't react because I had numbed myself completely to reality. I would go weeks without eating more than a spoon of rice a day. I became fat anyway. I grew up without social interactions and a fucked up conditioning.

And I don't consider myself screwed.

You're not screwed - you're just nowhere near ready for a long term relationship yet.

One of my favorite TRP terms is "Abundance mentality". It means getting yourself in a place where you get to pick and choose between lots of good women instead of the other way around (you have only one romantic interest and she has multiple suitors).

If at any point you feel like a relationship isn't measuring up for whatever reason, you need to know in your mind, you can find someone else in a relatively short time. IF you want to. Women will sense this and act accordingly (in your favor).

When you're at that point, you pick the best of your prospects and start LTR:ing her if that's what you want. You also have the option of never settling, so give that some serious consideration. Once you are the captain of the ship, you will command the respect of your woman and you will no longer hate her. She will be loyal for as long as you keep your end of the bargain, which is to take care of her and ensure no harm comes to her. To command the respect of other men around you, to be successful at what interests you and ambivalent about everything else.

Anger phase.

You'll get over it, I think I hated myself and hamstered it as hating women.

But at the same time, it was a bit of both. Takes a while to get over it, I'm still angry but as much as before. You just accept women as they are and stop caring so much.

Here are some flaws in your thinking. You're receiving the wrong message from TRP, or you're just seeing the superficial.

1.Respecting women and treating them nice isn't what repels them.So then what repels them?

1a) when you respect them more then you respect yourself. eg. You put her on the pedestal. You look up to her like she's some goddess, You go to her for advice, Tou tell her your insecurities etc. 1b) when you treat her nicer then you treat yourself or others for nothing in exchange e.g. you're too nice to her for no reason, you think doing nice shit for her will make her want to spread her legs for you

2.No body likes "assholes", even guys don't like assholes. For some reason being an asshole is good thing on TRP, it's not. However assholes do have certain traits that make them seem attractive in the masculine sense. Assholes have backbones.

2a) Women don't want an "asshole" they want someone with a backbone and spine(so keep deadlifting lol :eyeroll:. Someone that stands up for himself. Someone that leads. Someone that will make the decisions for her. They want their Man to be rooted into the ground of masculinity. With his root's so deep into masculinity that even a drought or undead blight couldn't erode them. 2b) You want to find someone that you can be yourself around, but that as a goal makes no sense if you don't know who you really are as a person. If you don't know your "masculine self" then you can't be yourself. TRP is a discovery one's own manhood. It's the equivalent of a squire on his journey to become a knight/bad ass warrior.

3.Society, Government agenda, femenists etc will try to shove a script down your throat. They want you to follow that script so they can use you and take advantage. Taking the redpill is like saying, fuck that I ain't the side bitch in this play, I'm fucking main actor.

Women are feminine by nature, and there always going to be attracted to the masculine. Think of the Feminine as chaos. The internal equilibrium of the feminine is chaotic in the sense that they have no control over themselves, in exchange for their controls they're allowing themselves to feel free. Free to feel the extremes of emotions,the highs and lows.The highs of passion & love can be quite euphoric. The emotions of love and hate are extreme, so extreme that there's a fine line between them. One could say that they're two faces of the same coin, or in another way emotions are the different sides of 32 sided die. Well if the feminine is 32 sided die, what's the masucline? The masculine is the person throwing the die, the masculine the person who designed the die; what material it's made up of, how many sides it has etc. In a relationship you as the masculine are in control of the way she feels. She shit tests to see if your internal equilibrium is stable, because it's only in your stability/stoic-ness can you she feel free from her emotions and her chaotic world.

Besides internalising the sidebar, I suggest looking up to a successful male role model, joining a community sports team. Read some books by Senca and Marcus Aurelius. Read the way of the superior man. Go out and practice. Don't be scared of your failures. You can't fix years of behavioural brain washing in 1 month. It takes time, and little efforts, and I bet in years time, you'll look at this message and laugh. Enjoy your life, and have fun!

The best thing I've learned from TRP is holding frame. Holding frame is the essence of masculinity.

Why are we constantly told that we should respect them and treat them nice when doing so repels them?

They do this, so they could separate alphas from the nice guy betas. It is a sexual strategy to identify alpha seed. Women don't like men who agree with them and who lack backbone to call them out on their shit (this is where the shit tests come from). This doesn't mean you have to become an asshole.

I feel I can't win unless I become the 'asshole' but this is so against my nature I'm not sure I can.

Here's the good news - you don't have to. Many guys have this black and white worldview: "I'm either a good guy or an asshole". This is incorrect, since there are huge number of shades of grey between those two, which means you don't have to be either. I recommend reading Robert Glover's "No More Mr Nice Guy". Buy it or torrent it - it's an eye-opening read and will snuff out your black and white worldview.

Mind you, there are some women out there who genuinely like assholes - these are women who usually end up in abusive relationships and marriages. Stay away from them, and let them reap what they sow.

Beginning to hate women...

A year ago I came to a realization that I wasn't going through the anger period, in the sense that I was beginning to hate women, but rather I hated myself for being oblivious and ignoring reality around me. I wanted to believe in the fairy tale and kept telling myself that the fairy tale was real. If it wasn't for TRP I would still be walking around while believing the fairy tale.

You're with a girl who was with an asshole, but maybe he brought her tingles. You feel in order to win, you must become that asshole, which you don't want to be.

Well, here's a better option. Don't be with a girl... who was with an asshole. Does that exclude a lot of girls? Absolutely.

If you're a beta, you have to really protect yourself when it comes to women. Find a 'good' girl without a crazy past. That's where you need to go if you can't be alpha.

Hard to find? Probably. But you're not screwed... just screwing the wrong girl.

You might have an annoyance, but getting actually angry is pointless. These groups are inferior to you in every way, you can not hold them to the same standards or take them seriously at all.

It is a joke to think women are equal to men. For the absolute lowest functioning males, perhaps, but not if you are at least average or better, certainly not if you are a top 20% male.

Society fed you a lie about female agency and ability. You're here because you realized something was off, and if you're absorbed the material you understand you are superior to women. Now own up to it, and run with it.

Let the anger fall away and be replaced by pity and just start ignoring the idiocy of the female. You will get better and better techniques to work around it with practice.

I think only time will tell how you will turn out. I remember as a child I used to wonder why I didn't have special powers. I thought that I was innately good which I was but now as I get older I have become very cynical. Society has molded me into something very hateful.

All one can do is improve their LMS as much as possible. Thats really it. If after you do this, you enjoy the sexual marketplace, great. If not, fuck it and go MGTOW. Theres not much else to it.

If you think you can still improve your looks/money/status/game, then this forum along with some others are great resources. Once you've done all you can though, the only options are to then either where you are (maxed out potential/optimal version of you) in regards to your interactions with women, or just go your own way (MGTOW).
