I've seen Patrice O'Neal's show, Black Phillip, brought up many times on TRP. It was a great source of TRP knowledge. I say was because as many of you know, Patrice passed away a few years ago. His Co-host Dante Nero, knew how many men out there were still hurting. Men lost in a world that didnt make sense to them. Dante decided to take up the cause with The Beige Phillip show. I did a quick search and it looks like its been over half a year since there was a thread for Beige Phillip. Dante's got some great stuff the 50k or so new subs could benefit from hearing.

A few things you should know going into it.

  1. Dante Nero decided to do the show only if he felt he could progress the discussion forward. I would say he has done that. It does not set out to be Black Phillip. It does not set out to replace it. It was created to progress the dialog, to bring up new ideas.

  2. Black Phillip mirrored my anger phase. Beige Phillip is post-anger. Some of the things he says are extremely enlightening, but will only be understood after accepting TRP.

  3. The recording quality of the first few shows sucks. Its too quite (have to turn the volume to 11). The way Dante speaks also takes some acclimation. He might seem a bit full of hot air at first. Past episode 10 the recording quality starts to pick up and you start to understand his credibility. You really start to see this in episode 7 when you get to listen to him tame Yamaneika Saunders live on air.

  4. I started at Episode 50some, listened to about episode 60, then went back to start at 1. It would be better to start at 1 so you understand the terms and phrases he uses. Edit: I say this because he speaks in Dante-isms that are easy to misunderstand. For example he says "Be a credible dude." This could be understood as be 'convincing'. What he really means is don't fake being awesome, be awesome. Make yourself better, don't fake being better. He does advocates faking it until you make it but the important part is making it, not faking it to get pussy. He knows all the PUA tricks but advocates self improvement over fooling someone for the night.

You can listen to them on iTunes. If you have and iPhone you can find it on the Podcast app. They also have the episodes on http://beigephillip.com/

I really fucking love the show. I am excited for every new episode and would hate to see him go off air. This is me doing what I can to make sure he keeps spreading the gospel. After every episode they ask you to rate and review on iTunes (so go do it). My guess is it helps their exposure. Dante does this for free. We should help him out when we can. I think it would be great to get him to do an AMA, and I'm sure some traffic from us could help motivate him.
