Who's definition of "ass" are you using? Your own or women's? I'm here to tell you that the two are very different. Figure out your own definition and stand by it.

But, I'll assume that you can't really tell the difference at this stage and would consider Tyler a douche as well. Here's what you should be asking yourself. Is the way you come across now: timid, intimidated, nice, sweet, etc. working for you? I'd rather come of as a complete asshole than any of the those. Why? Because, a complete asshole has a much better chance of getting laid than a timid, nice guy.

Not that I'm necessarily advocating being an asshole but, if you want to get laid and attract women and your choices are being a nice BP or an asshole towards women I would advocate being an asshole. In fact rather be a confident, douche than a BP loser. Having people or, more specifically, women like you is less important than having women be attracted to you. If you want to get laid that is.

Consider 3 aspects:

they where on tape (they're eyes meet the camera several times, the camera i.e. is the psychological alpha in the room) - they had they're guard way up, you literally have to be a pornstar to be "open" to game on camera
he did not own one frame, the wimpy reporter basically owns him, along the lines..."dance monkey dance", and the showstopper never picks up on this, he has absolutely no awareness of this hes concentrating to much on how "PUA" he looks for the cameras
technique wise: from what I seen, he shows a lot of "flash" and doubles up with negs and brashness, and when it doesn't instantly "catch" he goes of like a machine gun without ever expecting any feedback, goes for raport continuesly, he moves to much and is indicisive about who to game. Good kino, I feel like that is the only reason he got compliance out of the set(beside the flashy camera crew)

advice: good PUA's are the alphas of clubs, clubs are a ego orgy, and to own that you need the biggest ~~cock~~ ego in the room, what is acceptable in a club means overdoing IRL. Never confuse the 2 and understand that PUA's are just gaming the system like boobs and make-up they don't make you a better person, I would recomend you stick to day game(better quality of women IMHO). But I'm not a PUA, and there are probably others that have different opinions and who's advice is more applicable to your world view.

Who gives a fuck if your a douche? Seriously, if your a douche that gets hot chicks and they like you... Then your actually a really cool guy.

First thing you need to work on to be more alpha.. STOP giving a fuck about what other people think. YOU need to like YOU, you need to KNOW that your fucking awesome, and once you feel that way, you'll come off as confident.

YES, you do need to "not be a douche", but, your not there yet. You need to worry about learning to be confident before you worry about calibrating your confidence. Also, remember, your going to break some eggs, your going to come off wrong, your going to screw up with a chick that you (at that moment) think is awesome, it happens, get used to it.

This post asks quite a few wrong questions.

Women don't like "assholes." They like everything that being an asshole conveys about you. Assholes are confident -- they don't care what other people think about them and don't need or want validation or acceptance from others. This conveys that they have friends and women already, lots of options, and could take or leave any particular woman. They're exciting - they're just having a good time, cutting lose, and they're so completely different from all of the vanilla nice guys who keep approaching.

It's a gross oversimplification to say that The Red Pill involves "being an asshole" or a douche. The Red Pill is all about being confident, physically fit, professionally successful, socially apt, interesting, skilled and useful, and all in all, a guy that's worth a shit. Genuine confidence and treating a woman like any other person is so damn rare that a confident, cocky guy who teases a woman a little bit stands out heavily and seems like a real asshole.

As for women "seeing right through your act," The Red Pill isn't about putting on an act. You're not trying to trick women into thinking you're something you're not to deceive them into sleeping with you. The idea is to become worth a shit so that being confident and attractive to girls is just part of your lifestyle. If you're worth a shit, then "game" isn't a game any more, it's just you.

The Red Pill also isn't about realizing women aren't "better than you." Women aren't better or worse than you, just very different. The idea is to understand what attracts women, what flips their triggers, how they communicate and interact, how they test you, then respond to all of these cues appropriately. You can have a much more meaningful and fulfilling interaction with a woman when you understand her and know how to make both yourself and the woman happier, often in spite of her words and actions.
