So there's a lot of advice on TRP regarding things to improve/do in order to attract more women in to your life etc.

One thing I'm going through at the moment is the fact that I am approval seeking for basically all forms of my behaviour. Every conversation I have is molded to ensure that the audience approves of me. Improving body language and image only to get validation from people.

It's easy to get lost in the 'lift more, work out, eat better, do game' and realise that you are still a nice guy to the core. I know most of us want to get better with girls and so some changes are necessary. But it's still pretty easy to chase perfection and have that belief that you aren't worthy.

It's strange to me that confidence isn't about being perfect, but actually embracing imperfection and allowing people to connect with it. Deep down I try to hide my true self and that is what a lack of confidence is, no amount of lifting or game will rectify that underlying issue (it doesn't hurt of course!)

I'm on my second read of No More Mr Nice Guy and it's amazing how insightful it is and shows some pitfalls of self improvement.
