Maybe poisonous is a bit of a harsh word to use but I could not come up with anything better than that.

One issue I faced growing up is that I had parents who were very poisonous people. My parents often flooded my mind with limiting beliefs and belittled me for the smallest of things. It hurt my self-esteem and confidence quite a lot, also my dad would yell at me every chance he got. Later I found out that my dad was just taking the frustration of his job out on me by constantly yelling at me. Growing up I had major self-esteem issues, confidence issues, and I was neurotic too.

The mood in my house was very negative and it was quite a poisonous place to be in, still is. My parents didn't care one bit for things like health (staying in good shape) or social life (dating, making friends, etc.), all my parents cared about were grades and getting the nicest job which you can brag about (being a doctor). Lets just say that my parents did everything to make me into a beta blue pilled guy that the woman marries after she has been on the cock carousel.

Well, even now, they just won't fucking learn. Fortunately I don't talk to them much but whenever I do they still try to push their limiting beliefs on to me, poison my mind with their bullshit, and push me into getting married. Whenever I try to pursue something and tell them (after they have asked me), they tell me shit like "oh don't do it, it's too risky". It is like these nutjobs are doing everything in their power to STILL make me into that spineless blue pilled beta male.

It makes me even more depressed just thinking about how big of a role parents play in how we turn out not only genetically but also in other areas. I feel like if I had better parents, I would be a much happier person in life and farther than I am right now. Sometimes I feel like you can have all the genetic advantages in life but all it takes is two stupid, poisonous, and batshit crazy parents to fuck it all up. People who have good parents probably have the best advantage in life anyone can ask for, I just wish I had at least decent ones.

So anyone else wanna share their story?
