Don't forget not all hot women were always attractive. I'm not talking about that wannabe make-up artist bullshit, but grew up legitimately ugly.

Women who were dogs in high school but somehow "grew into themselves" are worthy of LTR. They did not grow up having everything handed to them so they are less likely to take shit for granted.

Perhaps at one point in time this would've worked. The current issue is that your avg 5-7s are getting the same amount of attention as 8-9s and at times, even more so since some men are literally afraid of approach into an 8-9 so they seek out the lower, more "attainable" end of women. This in turn inflated the egos of your avg 5-7 woman.

I remember reading somewhere that the average female in 2015 gets as much attention as a 1955 movie star actress did back in her day.

When I met my LTR, she was a solid 8. And what really baffled me was that she didn't act at all like an 8 typically acts. She wasn't bitchy, wasn't shallow, wasn't entitled. I used to joke that she had the personality of a fat chick.

It wasn't until later I found out she used to be a total landwhale. She lost a ton of weight and turned out to have a great body, and I just happened to come along at the right time to snatch her up.

There is no doubt in my mind that beauty corrupts character. Finding a girl who was ugly/fat and then worked on herself and became beautiful is like hitting the jackpot. Of course I could see some women letting it go to their head and going off the deep end, too.

Don't settle for a 6 though. That's just a bad idea. Don't compromise your sexual pleasure. There are beautiful women out there who aren't shitty. But you won't find many in a club or a bar.

In my experience, more attractive women tend to have better personalities. I wish I could just chalk it up to the Halo Effect, but it's more than that.

People are just nicer to attractive women. Likewise, while attractive women get special treatment just for being hot, the sweet and hot ones can basically skate through life in a way the rude hot ones can't. It's very easy for hot women to see the world as just being a place full of nice people who are always nice. They handle disappointment and conflict better, too, if for no other reason than their (entirely reasonable) belief that a random man will come along and fix her problems for free. Or maybe they're just well-practiced from fending off thirsty betas all day. Conversely, 6's and 7's are more unstable, while 5's and below tend to throw tantrums early and often.

I think it's more of a background thing than a hotness thing in the end. The two sweetest girls I've ever dated both grew up poor but moved up later on. One was a 6 whose father built up his own company from nothing; they struggled until she was 12 when it took off. The other was a 9 who grew up in post-USSR eastern Europe, had basically nothing, then moved to the US where her parents became engineers. Both girls saw firsthand all the effort that goes into making a successful life rather than being born to it. Both girls also had very strong, traditional fathers. I think those are really the key ingredients that make one more resilient to the validation that women (especially hot ones) receive.

tl;dr No, dating 6's will not help you avoid girl drama. At best you'll have an easier time getting one and a slightly easier time keeping her.

No. I've met a fair number of pretty attractive women who seemed to be relatively nice people. On the other hand, there are lots of average looking women with a grossly inflated sense of their own attractiveness. The internet is infested with internet "celebrity" girls who are mediocre looking but get lots of praise for the photos they post on Instagram, or wherever.

There are also f'ugly women who are bitter, angry, and ugly on the inside because they feel entitled to the same treatment as a smoking hot supermodel, but can't get it.

Oddly, this line of reasoning isn't ridiculous, though I thought so at first reading. Hypergamy 101 says that women degrade in beauty over time, hence the Wall. Men do not have this narrative. Assuming men take care of themselves, their "beauty" (aka SMV) increases over time. At age 48, I am fucking loving the leverage I have in this department. I did not see this coming. For every new gray hair and smile line, a new phone number. I cannot walk out of Whole Foods these days without a note under the windshield wiper of my car. Again, I never saw this coming. Btw, for all your gray hairs... Amused mastery to me means smiling with your eyes only. The lines say all. Trust me on this.

The whole movement of all women are beautiful has corrupted the dating scene. Women belive they are 8/9s when they are actually 6/7s. This means women in their 20s won't settle for anything less than a 8/9. It's once they hit their 30s that they either wake up to reality and settle for someone in their league, or they bitch and complain "there are no good men in the world".

This demonstrates that inflated egos have created a sense of entitlement which has in turn destroyed the dating scene.

You can find very sweet women and very bitchy women and everything in between at many different levels of attractiveness. That's just one of those things that you have to find out on a case by case basis.

Honestly, I find women who are more beautiful Hb8-9 tend to be more much relaxed then your average Hb6.5 who gets hit on by every idiot because they think they have a shot. There is a whole set of different problems dating a girl that is a 8+. Hotter women tend to have lower N-count (experience) besides your outliers like strippers or pornstars.

Even if those girls turn you down, it's rare that they are bitches about it. A HB6 might turn you down nasty just to boost herself up and feel better about herself.

People will look down on you for dating subpar women and if she doesn't get your dick hard, she doesn't get your dick hard, end of story. A girl who is a legit 8 or above is at top of their SMV and it only makes sense you are up there too.

Personally, I think if you are LTRing a 6, it's basically going MGTOW. Some dudes can stomach it and props to them. It's the age old dilemma of raising yourself or lowering your standards.

I don't think this is necessarily true, there are many factors at play. When a woman is both skinny and symmetrical, a lot of men are pretty bad at discerning between her natural beauty and her dressing up provocatively. You can have the same girl, with her wearing a t-shirt and sneakers in the day compared to her wearing a short skirt and high heels with heavy makeup and dim club/bar lighting and men would give different ratings. There is almost certainly some correlation with girls who frequent clubs/bars too much and certain bad character traits.

Also, there are huge socioeconomic factors at play. Beauty is strongly correlated with wealth as a lot of physical characteristics are outright purchased, such as orthodontics, expensive hair styling/treatment, laser eye surgery or contact lenses, etc. Or in the extreme case, plastic surgery. Also, wealth can purchase resources that help with looking good, such as personal training, nutritionists, supplements, and simply regular visits to the doctor (most poor people skip doctor visits to save money, especially when they are young, so they won't get their annual scolding if they are overweight and they don't catch other problems like poor nutrition). So middle to upper class people tend to look better because they have money to buy beauty/health products and services. I find that in general, wealthier people are far nicer on average, but some of them can be mean to poor people. So if you are swinging up in socioeconomic class, you might be greeted with nasty personalities. Poor people often hate rich people too. It's a class thing more than a beauty thing.

Finally, I think there is simply a bias against people who have everything. Pretty people tend to have money too, so they have everything. People just assume nasty things about them. For example, intelligence is actually positively correlated with attractiveness. It might not be obvious at first, because we can all think of one ugly looking nerd that is a genius (because Hollywood and the media has trained us to pick that person out), but it is extremely obvious when you invert the question and look for the dumbest people and the people who fail out of school. A lot of them have low quality genetics, illnesses, or mental problems so they tend not to look attractive. They might be born with genetic conditions which often leave them looking asymmetrical or sick. Or they may have mental issues that prevent them from taking care of themselves and having good hygiene (you just have to put bad hair on someone and they look far less attractive already). Also, guys often have an age bias when they think good looking girls are dumber than average looking girls, because they end up comparing 18 year olds (who naturally act more ditzy) to 22 year olds because men tend to have an age preference for the younger.

Another related thing is the idea that wealthy people have more psychopathic tendencies and the idea that money corrupts. Most of the research there is also bad science. In my experience wealthy people have much higher moral character. Some of the people I trust the most are investment bankers and lawyers (the stereotypical scumbags in TV and movies). Again, invert the question. I know I feel a lot safer in the rich part of town than in the ghettos or trailer park. The crime statistics back up those feelings.

Realistically, all the good traits are correlated and all the bad ones are correlated. People who are good looking tend to come from wealthy backgrounds and they are given a lot of advantages by society. People just like the idea of parity, thinking that if someone is beautiful, they must be lacking in moral character or intelligence. Or if someone is a great athlete, they must be dumb. But beauty is simply a proxy for health, and health is a prerequisite to developing full mental capacity, so healthy people are smarter. Smarter people tend to be more socially savvy, so they tend to have better personalities and moral character, which allows them to navigate society and make more money. It's a self reinforcing cycle.

While I have theorized about it, I have never turned a 5 into a 7 or 8 through diet, exercise and pyschological character moulding. Has anyone, and would that be an ideal situation?
