A question I've been mulling recently as I brows TRP--and this is not concern trolling, I'm interested in a serious discussion.
First, let me say I understand a number of you will not care if a double standard is applied. I'm not asking from a "fairness" perspective, I'm asking so that those of us that care can better understand our respective situations per the maxim that knowledge is power.
What I think I often see when reading posts and comments is the idea that the way women are is the only way that women can be. This is in contrast to the idea that men, through means such as TRP, can significantly better themselves and their capacities irregardless of where they happen to be at the moment, if they'll just understand and then work.
Even the GOD of betas can improve, in theory, if he'll swallow the pill, learn and work. Is there any reason the same isn't true for women? (I'm not asking if TRP would work for women, just whether or not they have realistic capacity for improvement.) Again, I'm not asking how difficult it would be for women given western societies cultural messages.
Obviously, I think self improvement is not limited to just one gender. I also think it's not my responsibility to improve others just because. However, I can see a lot of benefit to keeping this in mind anytime I'm forced to deal with others repeatedly, such as with family members, co-workers and/or social circle members.
It seems as though as leader (which is required as I understand alpha) I ought, for my own future benefit, to subtly lead these people to improvements that will make future necessary/unavoidable interactions easier and more beneficial for me.
This would see it's ultimate fruition when evaluating for LTR.
Thoughts?
