I recently revisited the German intellectual Esther Vilar's writings (The Manipulated Man and The Polygamous Sex) to reacquaint myself with the foundations of female bahaviour. I followed it up with another equally eye-opening tome called The Anatomy of Female Power by a Nigerian intellectual named Chinweizu. (This is more nuanced and relatively easy to digest, but make no mistake - it packs the same punch as Vilar's).

It ended up making me angry all over again. Darkly angry.

But from some unaffected corner of my mind came the thought that being angry won't help much. Anger acts as a spur to action, yes, but beyond that, remaining angry is not very effective. Anger consumes our thoughts so much that we start to wallow in self-pity and bitterness.

But being a man is being above that shit. Being a man is about controlling emotions, not being in their control.

So here's how I stopped the anger from consuming me, with a simple logical thought.

The books quoted above show how men are manipulated and made to exist and work for women. The anger that arises in us comes from the realization that women have been doing this to us without our knowing. That women control us. That women have been DOING this to us for so long.

But if you rationally observe, it is Nature, through evolution, that is actually doing this to us. Women are merely the means. They are the conduit, the vehicle, as it were. They act and do as they act and do because it's their nature to act and do so. They cannot but be so - it's in their programming.

Once we realize that our enemy (so to speak) is Nature and not women, the anger loses its power. It loses its sting. And we get back the use of our faculties, and we can restart our work on bettering ourselves and making Nature our bitch.

Friends, know and understand that woman is simply Nature personified. Don't get bitter. Get better.
