If a bitch is fat and she wants to know what you think, you better be telling her that she needs to get on a fucking treadmill. That is our responsibility. Shaming is an essential tactic, that used to be applied by men to keep those around us in line, now it's a tactic primarily applied by women to keep men subservient.

If you look at other cultures, you'll see varying degrees of shaming, but you'll also notice that more fat shaming tends to keep the average weight of a population down.

Korea for instance, anything popular celebrities start getting fat, they jump on that shit and shame the hell out of them. Sure there are still fat people, but the obesity levels are limited in those countries as compared to say the United States.

The title of this post is misleading. If anything the fat shaming draws overwhelming criticism. The "victim" of fat shaming draws overwhelming support.

Dumb women everywhere, all striving in their own little ways for a world without 'shame'... What could possibly be the bi-product(s) of such a movement, I wonder?

Oh, that's right. A world without personal judgement, a world without consequence and moral consistency, a world in which responsibility and accountability are vague, old fashioned concepts.

Yes, 'shame' and what is deemed shameful are subjective, just look at how easily feminists have annexed arcane religious shaming methods. But true shame - human shame - the shame he or she feels when one steps outside of the bounds of common decency - is a good thing. For us as individuals, and for society as a whole. Yes there are varying degrees - this woman has raised a clearly obese child and won't acknowledge the harm she has done, not exactly a serial killer, but both are shameful.

Justified shame must be nurtured. Shame is as useful a tool to civilisation as a reliable and abundant water supply / food supply, phsyical security, societal congruency etc. When any of these components are removed, the chaos begins to creep in.

Look at the slutwalk, the HAES nonsense... what happens when one gender in particular within the western world either intentionally or subconciously wages a 'war against shame'?

Who gives a rip about fatties? If they're strangers and they choose to be unhealthy, it's not my problem and not worth my time.

If a fatty wants to say she is "proud" of her body, a body by Taco Bell, fuck it. She can go on with her self delusion. If she asks me for an opinion, I'll try to avoid answering because it's not worth the time. If she presses, sure, I'll tell the truth.

But otherwise, I've got my own set of shit to deal with like not becoming a fatass through exercise and a passable diet

FB picture is quite interesting. Comments say how pretty, confident, sexy, hot, gorgeous she is. Commentators are all women (at least top comments). And then you see a picture of this godzilla on the left. Are you fucking kidding me?? It's like women live in some fantasy world where they all are wearing pink goggles, sun shines, fairies fly around and fart with sweet melody of Miley Cyrus songs. In reality, even helplessly drunk virgin man would find quite a challenge to hold back throwing up while banging this thing.

Can anybody please explain why there is such a gap between womens' perception of themselves and reality?

After reading the paper I do not understand where the 'fat shaming' comes from. The girl Lexi is fat. The clerk stated the obvious. No judgement was uttered. The mother and the daughter interpreted the adjective fat to be an insult. They read into a simple statement a reminder that the daughter eats too much, exercises too little and has no desire to do anything about either. The shame was in their minds. Finally there is no victim.

It's the store clerk's job to help you pick a dress that works for you. She wasn't fat shaming. She didn't even call her fat. She just said that the dress didn't work for her body type.

And what do you think her peers will say if she shows up in an ill-fitting dress.

This is why women fail so often. They get butthurt at every little thing. Their poor widdle feewings get all upset if someone isn't telling them they are perfect and giving them a participation trophy.

Works for me though. Just makes it easier to knock them down later on.

I don't see the point in fat shaming. Its like smoking cigarettes. We all got the educated on how bad smoking is just like we got educated on proper diet and exercise. We all know that the more you eat and the less you move the fatter you get. So if people want to be fat then let them.

What we should all really be speaking up against is women who are over weight that believe men should be sexually interested in them. That's the only time Ill speak up, otherwise I don't really have much control over what people put in their mouths.

Edit: If you live in England or any other country that has socialized medicine then I can understand the fat shamming. Currently the U.S. doesn't have that.
