I had a very interesting conversation a few weekends ago (I did a full write up and the implications here: https://alphajedi.com/2017/04/25/unbut-totallyconditional-love/), but when talking with married couples about relationships it’s amazing how much Blue Pill Matrix speak gets tossed at you. Notes from the conversation:

  1. The reason anyone is single is because they have not met The One yet

  2. Relations last because of “hard work and communication”

  3. Men are intimidated by the Strong Independent Woman

So, I posed a question about when to end a relationship or marriage:

“How long do things have to be consistently bad before you know it’s time to end the marriage?

One couple answered right away. The husband immediately responded that loyalty comes above everything, and that one needs to honor their commitments

His wife responded right after him with “One year.”

For all the talk of “hard work, communication and loyalty,” the wife had a ready-fire specific time table while her husband didn’t even conceive of terms limits.

There’s a live example of how men and women approach love. Men see the unlimited idealized potential of things, and women see them in a very pragmatic and conditional way. Know the difference, it can save you from being “blind-sided.”
