Meet up for dinner with a large group of friends (~12 people). Me and two other people get there early so we're waiting for the others before they seat us at the table. One of them is a hb8. Guy friend (gay, so 0 competition) introduces us. I chat the guy up mostly, but give her eye contact and validation here and there involving her in the conversation at times.

A few more people show up so they tell us the table is ready. I lead the pack to the table; a long table with 6 seats on each side. I notice everyone has literally followed me all the way to the table so much as to even all be on the same side. So I decide to go around to the other side where no one is and sit squarely in the middle.

hb8 plops herself right next to me, despite all the other empty seats.

Go time.

I've got all night though so I'm not rushing things. I'm not there to impress her, just to bullshit her. So whenever she says something goofy I take the opportunity to tease her. She's loving it. Laughing, eye contact, touching at every opportunity.

I'm doing alright in implementing TRP but could be doing better. I could be escalating stronger. Getting her talk to more. She's definitely starting to tell stories to me of her own volition often but there's so much going on that we keep getting interrupted. But that's always going to happen. My job is just to re-ignite the conversation... to demonstrate I'm genuinely interested in what she's saying... and that will get her talking again.

But I was failing at that. I wasn't restarting the conversations so we just weren't getting deep.

Then we leave the restaurant and we squeeze into a car to go to the next bar. We're in the back seat, she's in the middle, obviously, because I put her there. No man sits bitch when there's a girl that can sit there instead.

But still it's a small car and I'm uncomfortable because of where her arm is... so I just tell her that.

me: "Move your arm"
her: "Well where do you want it?" (slight sexual innuendo already?)
me: <I don't fucking tell her, that's weak. I just move her arm.> "ah, much better now"
her: <giggles... probably because she just realized that what she asked had the inadvertent innuendo> then mutters softly but playfully "where do you want me?" <giggles some more>
me: <silence>

It wasn't awkward but I just kinda pretended like I didn't hear it because I was so surprised. This was a crucial opportunity to escalate. I could've said or done any number of things that would've given her the tingles but I froze up. I'm not used to getting these kinds of reactions from women so quickly.

Take-aways:

  1. take opportunities to lead, even simple things like leading your group of friends to a table, and then sitting where YOU want to, in the center of the table, to maximize your presence in the group.
  2. teasing her, when done properly, works like magic. It's like catnip.
  3. always continue escalating.
  4. when she presents herself to you (like this hb8 did to me), DIAL IT UP. FUCKING OWN THAT SHIT.

This is my first field report... I hope some people find it useful. If I'm not doing it right, tell me how to write it better.
