I (44m) went on a date with a 23-year-old woman and got ghosted.

I have been out of the game for about 7 years and unfortunately fumbled the bag with this one.

I met this HOT 23yo who has a 3-year-old kid, which was one of the main reasons why I went out with her, thinking she would have a certain level of maturity due to the child. I myself also have a 3-year-old and I look younger for my age. I later learned she was a fashion model on Instagram, and she thought I was around 38 years old.

In hindsight, I believe I had the wrong approach on the date and only realized it afterward, but I blame that on being out of the game for so long and not keeping up with the RP literature. I'm also feeling kind of bummed out about it because we really clicked and shared so much in common in many aspects. She also seemed very genuine and down-to-earth.

I just want to share some details of the date and would like to know what you guys think could have been done better. I remembered there was a guide to dating younger women on here, but I can’t seem to find it.

The Date Highlights:

  • Met at 2 pm at the mall - she didn’t want to do evening or night.
  • Went to two different outdoor locations.
  • Had great conversations, laughs and overall fun
  • Shared an ice cream cone that she bought.

  • We did not kiss because I felt that the environment and situation were not conducive to it.
