My theory is that men are becoming slowly more obsolete in modern society. Thinking about it rationally women tend to be more bisexual or open to sexual interactions with women. I think women are coming to realize that they really don't "need no man" quite literally. If many women can find other women attractive/sexually attractive and they can have sexually fulfilling sex with no risk of pregnancy or high risk for STDs why not do it? It doesn't work that way with men, most guys are grossed out or would gawk if they saw two guys kiss at a party: the same does not apply to women both men and women alike find it arousing and sexy. It's more common on television to see two girls making out then two guys, most men are repulsed by kissing or having sex with a guy with very few outed bisexual men. Also women are excelling better than men in schools and the workforce.

Women are just as smart as men and therefore can mentally do anything a man can do and with an emphasis on desirable jobs being in management and office work(mostly organization, making orders and paperwork) it makes it an equal playing field financially. Most girls in school are focused and determined. In k-12 public schools girls were trying their hardest to be perfectionists and make sure even the handwriting of their papers were tidy and neat, they wanted it to be perfect. The same applies in college to, they put an emphasis on schoolwork and their future. Hence the running joke of the uptight college girl who panicks at things not being done on time. Yes, there are party girls who have sex all the time and flunk out, the majority of girls graduate, more than the men as statistics tell us. The biggest issue with men is that we are thirsty fucks and everything we do tends to revolve around girls. As Chris Rock says a man would fuck in a cardboard box if he could. Cars, bodybuilding, power we admire these things because we believe it'll give us more girls which in turn will validate us and make us feel superior. Guys throw each other under the bus constantly for even the chance to get with a pretty girl. And because of our constant thirst and desire for sex we lose focus and are more concerned with sex-related things instead of building a future.

If you're a career-oriented girl with an open mind sexually, logically why wouldn't you go lesbian with a girl you find attractive for a fuck buddy relationship, than go with some thirsty dude who would sacrifice lambs if he thought it'd give him a chance to get in your pants. Of course alpha dudes aka "chad" are the exception. A woman is wired to want to procreate with the best man, it's human nature. So he's exempt from all this. But very few men can be chad as he in his very nature is something you can never have, his genetics itself are the prize, not what he accomplished. So a girl will more willingly go with a chad than a regular dude. The paradigm has changed entirely. 100+ years ago a woman actually needed a man for survival.

The world was a very different place even a century ago most of the world, especially America was mostly farmland and isolated. You needed a man to build your house, hunt animals and domesticate them, tend the land and protect it as well as you. You wanted to have sons with your husband as it meant more men who will stop at nothing to protect you. Even before then war was constant and no matter where you were in the world there was always some sort of scuffle or altercation happening where you needed a strong man to protect and provide for you. The paradigm was man was to protect and provide and woman in exchange would care for him and give him kids. It didn't matter how good looking you were or genetically blessed you were, it was could you take care of her. Women would be less inclined to cheat because you depended on your husband and sons for survival. Nowadays things are different: we have police officers, easily obtainable guns, we have organized government, detailed maps, nation-states, grocery stores, clothing stores, more connections with each other. The woman can provide and protect herself allowing her to be as choosy as she wants and selective as she pleases. It just seems to me that as things are going now it just seems that men are becoming more and more replaceable.
