I failed this weekend.

Went to my female cousin's wedding. She had a couple of banging hot bridesmaids. I was hanging out in the hotel when the two bridesmaids came in and saw me and we made eye contact. Asked immediately to my cousin who I was. "OMG he looks like Ryan Gosling!" (I am a doppelganger for him). I just walked out and said I will be seeing you two later.

I reconnected with them at the wedding reception. Began to escalate with touching. This sent off the alarm signals for their fat ass dates to come in and mate guard the fuck out of me. Since it was my cousin's wedding and I didn't want to be the guy who helped start a fight at her own wedding(these guys were ready to throw down), I just held frame and withdrew from the situation with some playful banter. I knew I won and had the two bridesmaids into me because they were annoyed, not thankful, that their dates came in to mate guard. And the rest of the night we had to eye fuck each other. If it wasn't my cousin's wedding I would have continued to escalate.

Regardless it wasn't a success. I failed in my mission of banging one of these bridesmaids. I feel like overall it was a success because I held frame and put the well being of my cousin above myself.

Learn to succeed by failing.

Our hindbrains prefer the cheap and immediate dopamine hit of LARPing over the guaranteed stress and uncertain rewards of going out there and doing it for real. I guarantee 99.99% of people who read this comment will get a dopamine hit from subconsciously LARPing that they're now going to take action, and then do nothing.

I went "all in" on TRP out of frustration from my last failed LTR. It had failed just like all the previous ones: start off strong alpha thanks to my PUA "knowledge", then slide into a complacent beta because it was the path of least resistance. Once I decided to put reservations and bullshit aside and go all in on what TRP was recommending (back then the zeitgeist pushed really strong for plate spinning), I realized that all I had been doing previously was LARPing and was bound to fail. I can't stress how absolutely doomed your non-efforts are if you're just reading and pretending in your head that you now "know" shit. You will end up a frustrated chump just like any normie, regardless of how much you may "know". Thinking that your sex life will improve significantly just by reading TPR is like thinking that your basketball shooting will improve significantly just by watching videos without ever actually training and playing.

Even when you do approach and do "everything right", you'll fail with 75% of women.

About 25% of women will blow you off immediately. Another 25% will barely look at you, answer everything with 1-2 words, and hope you take the hint and go away. A third 25% will try to milk you for drinks and feign interest, but flake on any attempt to isolate her.

Sometimes, it's not even your fault. A woman just isn't open to getting fucked tonight. Maybe she's on her period. Maybe she had a shit day at work. Maybe she has a raging STD and is waiting for the course of antibiotics to finish. Maybe her dog just died. Maybe she's gay. Maybe she has a boyfriend or husband she doesn't feel like cheating on tonight. Or maybe she only dates 6'4" guys with beards, and you're 6'2" and clean-shaven. Women can be picky like that because 20 guys are going to hit on each of them tonight.

Every day, talk to a dozen girls. You're in line at a coffee shop or at the bank? Put your fucking phone away and talk to someone. You don't need her number, a date, or a lay. You're just shooing your mouth off with a random woman you bumped into and seeing what happens. If you have to tell yourself you're being productive to make yourself do it, then fine. You're practicing. Because talking to that girl in line at the bank, and 100 more just like her, will help you this weekend when you talk to that girl at the bar. And guess what? Talk to enough random women, and you'll score with a few.

I failed this weekend. Did a vegas trip, approached a lot and had lots of options and IOI's but couldn't close. Two of those women were married and had their friends grab them from me as we were getting too close. I'm finding bachelorette parties and girl groups larger then three to be a real pain, especially in Vegas because the guard is up.

You obviously don't "click" with every guy, so why would you expect to "click" with every girl?

Treating a rejection or a crappy date as a "failure" makes little sense, and only serves as a justification to mentally beat yourself up.
