Let's put aside business acumen, cultural differences (of which I'm sure many will have very... interesting opinions of ITT) and see where the value is.

Woman got crazy, guy immediately worked towards his reputation. Guard it with your life. Such a very simple, yet very difficult choice to make here for a lot of newly unplugged, and plugged in alike.

I have an LTR of about 7 years, lots of great memories, some BP moments, some RP ones. You'd better believe that any of the 'red flags' like death threats, arrests, restraining orders etc. all that goes away.

Maybe it was a joke taken bad. I doubt it, but sure, it's possible. Either way, guy didn't take the chance. It would hurt to watch if someone just up and misconstrued a benign conversation and ended up ruining someones life over it, wouldn't it? (don't kid yourself, UAE will most likely kick her out even if there's no jail-time, they don't fuck around). If that's the case, it should make you a little sick to your stomach. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in, you might want to consider why you get a reaction to this woman getting fucked, when there's more than enough examples of a guy getting the same treatment, and I'll bet you don't care nearly as much right?

The two examples are all you really need. One fueled off emotions, cost sunk fallacies, and just plain old fashioned stupidity/nobility/protection. The other a self-interest decision of success...
