TRP didn't change my goals. TRP helped pull everything into focus. You see the blurs in your peripheral vision, the things that aren't quite right but you know they're there. You take the Red Pill and it makes everything clearer. The goals were in my peripheral vision. They're there, but they're not focused. TRP gives me that push to chase the dream. In fact, I use the advice about improving myself far more than I use any advice on picking up women. Now, women become attached to me through my own advancement. And that's the only way I'll have it now.

Yes it has. TRP was extremely important to me. I spent most of my 20s playing the field -- was into the PUA community since the year 2000 back when it was on Usenet. Racked up 100+ lays during that decade, but three different times got into LTRs that completely wrecked me.

TRP helped me uncover the root of that. Despite the seeming success with women, I was still looking for "The One" who "Really Gets Me"™. The woman to take this big painy-wain in my heart away.

Fuck that.

TRP has done more for my self-worth than failed prior attempts at therapy, medication, and all the feminized bullshit we've been taught to try.

I have no intention to ever stop spinning plates. If I can get 100+ girls with all the disadvantages I had (self-loathing, lack of status and almost literally no money to spend), then with the positive investments I'm making in myself, I see no reason I can't get to 1,000 in my lifetime.

LTR-wise, the only setup I'd consider is living with 2 women, both under 25, who both call me Daddy, live like sisters, and compete for my affection and the right to sleep in my bed. I have no doubt that I will eventually find this.

Very similar situation man. I'm pretty new to TRP but a few months ago I was convinced I had found my wife and had given up on becoming successful or trying too hard in life because I had the love of my life and was comfortable. I had actually directly given up all my hobbies and most of my friends BECAUSE SHE MADE ME.

Then shit hit the fan when she left me and started fucking someone else asking for an "open relationship" since she wanted to "experience being single" before running back a month later.

I told her to go fuck herself.

Soon after I found this community and learned about TRP and discovering it has really been bittersweet. On one side it helped me understand why everything happened and makes a lot of sense compared to all the fell good bullshit everyone else spews. But also its really depressing knowing that life isn't a fairy tale.

But since then I've tried to change my life and been working out and have the best grades of my life. I have some big goals and my life is looking a lot better than ever. Still have a lot to learn though, but glad I found TRP.

I always thought an aim in life was to make a family. Now, I don't give a shit about that. I'd rather find personal happiness. I'd rather strive for financial stability and freedom. The freedom to do what I want.

Didn't really change my over arching goals, but it has definitely changed the way I proceed with attaining those goals.

Oneitis brought me here. I too wanted to find "the one" and settle down with a family. I wanted to go to medical school, but wasn't putting in the drive and effort I needed to get there. Rejected by my oneitis, I was in constant mood swings, wondering where I went wrong, why I wasn't good enough. I was a beta and I got bucked. Somehow I landed here and read everything I could get my hands on.

That was 4 months ago. I still occasionally think about my oneitis (less and less with time), but now I know how massively she fucked up. I'm not angry anymore. I was the one who put myself in every poor position I was in. Once I accepted that, I was looking nowhere but forward. I put time into thinking of EXACTLY who I want to be in 5-10 years and decided to become that person NOW. That simple change in attitude, that change in mindset, has landed me three medical school interviews in the next two weeks. It has given me plates to spin and muscles to keep them spinning. I've dropped 4% body fat. I get called hot, important, asked if I'm a doctor 3 times a week. My confidence and testosterone are at an all time high. I look better than I ever have, and understand that my value has nowhere to go but up.

TRP hasn't necessarily changed my goals, though I'm no longer looking for Ms Right. I'm just looking for people who understand what I'm doing and who can help me along the way. I'm becoming the most powerful version of myself. It's funny too. The less I give a shit about other people, the more they give a shit about me.

TRP hasn't changed my goals, but has changed the urgency with which I approach them.

Kind of it showed me I'm alone as a man and the ultimate goal is purpose above all else. I suspected this was true but was never quite sure. I'm still pursuing my goal of getting to a level of mastery with women where I can always be spinning quality plates, but I'm not really as mad at them or myself as I use to be. I really think its the lies that make you more bitter than anything else, maybe you feel betrayed by your fellow humans. Once you've got the "truth" regardless of how "bitter" you're kind of "ok well at least that's true and I can at least operate from a place of wisdom and not ignorance" your navigation is no longer defective and I think that's what pisses off the "feminine imperative" they want you to lose this effect is two fold of course because you realize the object of your affection/desire as a man doesn't necessarily have your best interest at heart (your mating strategies are at odds and someone must lose) hence the bitterness but when you realize no one puts others before the self you sort of let go. Knowledge is power.

It really makes you realize how true it is that having money gets you a lot more dating options. I want to keep pursuing a music production/audio technician but you don't get any decent payout until you've already established yourself as someone who can make great records AND run a recording studio. Internships are great but no one really takes you seriously until you have a good blast room and variety of equipment, and can prove that you can use them all.

So yeah, you gotta invest some pretty heavy cash. Nothing too insane, but entry level jobs, and cheap money from USB garage band records only go so far.

Now all I can think about is "Fuck it, go back to school for computer networking."

Of course that costs, but you can get solid network training in less than two years for A LOT less than 4 year universities.

If I can just get a solid income then I can move the fuck out of my parents place and never move back in again. And get a new bed frame that doesn't sound like i'm stepping on baby mice, even when I'm just wanking.

This is not for getting with more women, I just don't have my identity until I find my own way of getting stable income and progressing towards my goals. I need my own place, be my own man, all the stuff my grandfather told me about when I was younger. Really basic stuff that is easier said than done.

Medical bills can make someone feel powerless.

Youre god damn right it has. When I found trp I was in a rut. I set goals to get back on track, and with knowledge and influence from here I over achieved. I'm setting new goals for myself including: gym, work, travel, women, cooking, playing more sports than 3, learning how to program computers, etc. I have a big ass plate full of things to devour in 2014.

To make this short, I spent nearly all of my time either playing videos games or jerking it, hoping that I would find "the one" who gets me. The 2013 Lastslicesalami was a sad, sad piece of shit.

Now i'm reading Hemingway(mind), hitting the gym 5 times a week(body), and trying to get my life right(finances). I don't want to get married, I barely want a girlfriend knowing what kind of creatures they are.

TL;DR I was a bum in 2013, planning on running shit in 2014.

I always wanted to be the best husband and father I could possibly be, that is still a goal of mine if I ever meet a unicorn by chance. If I don't, then I'm not getting married, and sure as hell not bringing children into this world who have to live under the roof of a dysfunctional house and cannot grow into healthy, right minded beneficial people to society. I grew up in a fairly abusive dysfunctional home, I'd say I'm a pretty healthy person... But then again, my parents let me know I was an accident.

Other than that, my goals have not really changed outside the "get married, have kids" paradigm.

Coming from the same situation. Next'd my LTR GF because she wouldn't make a good wife or mother.

Now...it's all about fitness, career development and money management.

Self-sufficiency is a MUCH higher priority. The ideal would be to own and run enough business to be able to live off of.

I also have way higher standards for relationships and I'm more comfortable with the judgments I make about people.
