Warning: This is a long post. It’s my journey from my years of depression and being a loser to reaching a state of mind I call God Mode, where I am able to attract the women of my dreams.

I want to start this article with the following words from the poet Rumi: “What you are seeking is seeking you”.

Whenever you put your mind to something, the Universe conspires to meet you halfway.

I first became aware of The Red Pill, the manosphere, and the complex world of dating and attraction when I was 18, a senior in high school. I’m 23 now. Before I speak about my experiences reaching God Mode, I’m going to give a little backstory.

I was always a relatively normal kid, not popular, but also not a loser. I had friends, but I never had much success with women. Not only did I never have much success with women, but the very idea of having success with women was foreign to me.

I used to look at certain friends who had success with women with a look of confusion and mystery.

Throughout my childhood and adolescence, until the age of 18, my way of dealing with women was as follows: Develop a crush on a girl and do nothing about it. That’s it. I could not even become friends with someone I liked.

At the age of 13, I went through a traumatic life event. I won’t go into detail since it’s not relevant, but I will say the following: the next few years were full of depression and the worst years of my life. I matured quickly.

At the age of 16, I realized that I had to take responsibility into my own hands. I got into reading. I got interested in self-improvement, success, business, philosophy, psychology, etc.

From the age of 16 to 18, I took steps to improve myself as a person. I read dozens of books on self-improvement, and I took incremental steps to move in the right direction.

I went from skinny-fat, depressed, having no confidence, and having bad acne, to someone who took life into his own hands. I started going to the gym, I started taking care of my skin, I started improving my social anxiety and confidence, and I developed an outlook and a vision for how I wanted my future to look.

Despite all this, I still had zero knowledge of how to attract women.

At the age of 18, I developed my first real crush. This time, it wasn’t someone I liked from a distance; it was someone I was actively talking to every day and someone who liked me as well.

Unfortunately, my lack of courage in making a move led her to lose interest. After months on end of tension slowly building between us, she had enough of my inaction. I remember vividly one afternoon after school when we were the only two people left in the hallways. She walked up to me. Looking back, she probably wanted me to kiss her. What I did instead was give her a fist bump as she was moving in. I remember her muttering “what the fuck” under her breath and walking away. This was at the height of our attraction.

She probably either thought I was too much of a pussy to make a move or simply not interested.

The truth was, I was completely infatuated with her. Despite my strong feelings for her, I was terrified of rejection and vulnerability.

I used to think to myself “Why doesn’t she make a move? Why does it have to be me?”

I didn’t yet understand that we as men have a certain role to play. We as men must be the leaders and make the moves.

My heart was shattered. I went through a similar experience later that year; fell for a girl hard and she fell for me as well. This time, I learned from my previous mistake and made a move. I told her how I felt, and she said she felt the same way. Unfortunately, this did not last long.

My infatuation took over and I was no longer the guy she fell for. I went from being a confident, funny, and interesting guy to someone who could barely hold a conversation with her. Soon after, she went back to her ex, a guy who was a few years older than us and already in his later years of college.

This heartbreak was worse than the first one. It took me a solid 6 months to get over it. My heart was shattered again. One thing that helped me was my discovery of The Red Pill.

My first introduction to the manosphere was Coach Corey Wayne. I came across his videos on YouTube and started binging them. I then read his book “How to Be a 3% Man”. I found it to be paradigm-shifting. He talked about ideas and concepts I had never considered.

I was craving more. I started looking online to see if I could find some similar books when suddenly, I found the subreddit The Red Pill. This was before it got quarantined. I read all the top posts in awe. Many of the top posts were amazing, and it was Whisper’s words in particular that brought it all together for me.

When I was 19, I moved out of my parent’s house to go to a big college in another city.

Understanding the theory of The Red Pill is one thing but putting it into practice is a whole other thing.

My first year of college was mostly a failure, but at least I became more comfortable talking with women.

My second year of college was when I made bigger jumps. At 20 years old, I had my first kiss, as well as my second, third, fourth, etc.  I went on several dates. More importantly, I was getting out of my comfort zone and accepting that failure, rejection, and vulnerability are necessary parts of the process of becoming successful.

Unfortunately, just as I was building momentum, just as I had dates with different women lined up, the pandemic was announced, and our college was shut down. I had to move back in with my parents, and the following 6 months consisted of isolation from the outside world.

After some time, I stopped fearing the virus and started living my life again.

I realized that even though I was somewhat successful in my second year of college, it was mostly due to circumstances. Being in a frat, being surrounded by college students, and using online dating apps all helped.

With my college still shut down, and with my decision to never again use dating apps (since I believe they do more harm than good), I realized that my only way of becoming successful with women was to master cold approaching.

I had always been a fan of the idea of cold approaching. Some of my favourite posts from this subreddit were stories of cold approaching. While I had sometimes seen it argued that social circle game or using dating apps are better than cold approaching, I did not believe this, and I still don’t believe this.

When you become a master at cold approaching, you can use this skill almost anywhere in the world. With social circle game, you are relying on circumstances and luck. With dating apps, you are playing a game that every loser is playing. With cold approaching, you are playing a game that almost every guy is too much of a pussy to play. You immediately stand out, and there is an infinite number of beautiful women out there that you can practice with until you become so good that your success rate goes up tremendously (which I will get to later in this story).

At 21 years old, after a year of having suffered through isolation because of the pandemic, I decided enough was enough. I messaged my only friend that is not a pussy and I told him we should hit up the busiest part of the city that night and work on our cold approaching skills.

That night, after approaching 100 girls, I got only 1 number, and that 1 number was given out of pity. My friend, despite his massive balls, had the same experience as me.

With that said, I was incredibly proud of myself. I had broken the first barrier; not giving a fuck about rejection. I knew that it was just a matter of time before I mastered cold approaching.

I should note that before I could complete an exercise like this, I spent months doing smaller exercises. I used to go to the mall and make it an exercise to ask 10 pretty girls what the time was. I used to then go to another mall the next day and ask another 10 pretty girls what the time was, and then ask them directions to a nearby store. Incremental steps and improvement.

It was only when I felt I was ready to take the next step that I messaged my confident friend and told him we should cold approach 100 women. These things don’t happen overnight.

I spent most of that year shitting the bed when it came to cold approaching; I could not get it to work somehow. Rejection after rejection after rejection. In the meantime, I was also lifting weights, working on my style, getting nice haircuts, developing myself as a person, etc. I knew it was just a matter of time before I reached success with women.

After my college kicked me out because I refused to get the vaccine, I moved out of my parent’s house again, got a good job, and started renting a 1-bedroom apartment in a busy part of the city with a roommate.

Later that year, I reconnected with a friend who is a few years older than me. He lived close by, and he suggested we get a drink to catch up. Spending time with him was a paradigm-shifting experience. I was in shock looking at his skillset with women. The first thing I noticed was that he had zero shame and social anxiety. He could approach any woman in any situation.

A cute girl is sitting by herself reading a book? He’d approach.

A cute girl is walking with headphones on? He’d approach.

A cute girl is sitting with friends at a restaurant, and we are walking by? He’d approach.

It did not matter what the situation was, he’d always approach.

Whether he got rejected or not, he did not care, he kept going as if all of this was normal.

Not only did he have massive balls, but he also had a high success rate. The girls he would attract and fuck were 10s.

The next 3 months of hanging out with him were one of the most impactful experiences of my life.

I spent the first few weeks observing his behaviour. At first, I felt uncomfortable and second-hand shame when hanging out with him.

After some time, I started cold approaching together with him but found no success. We would sometimes approach two women together, and he would end up getting both while I got neither.

Over time, his ability to not feel shame rubbed off on me. I suddenly no longer cared what people in my surroundings thought, and I could cold approach any woman I found attractive in almost any social situation.

Life in the 21st Century is confusing for a man. We spend most of our time interacting with women on a “person-to-person” level, not on a “man-to-woman” level. Cold approaching facilitates this transition.

I think the reason my friend liked hanging out was me was because 1) even though I was not successful, I dared to fail, and 2) I never once showed any signs of resentment. I viewed the entire experience as an opportunity to learn and better myself.

At this point, I had turned 22 years old. After months of going out with him, approaching hundreds of women, and getting almost no success while he would get constant success, something finally clicked.

I always figured that God Mode would happen incrementally. But I was wrong. Instead, it was as if all my past experiences and failures clicked and came together. The best way to explain what I’m talking about is as follows:

God Mode is not reached like this:

Day 1: 100 failures, 0 successes.

Day 2: 99 failures, 1 success.

Day 3: 98 failures, 2 successes.

Etc.

God Mode is reached like this:

Day 1: 100 failures, 0 successes.

Day 300: 100 failures, 0 successes.

Day 301: 20 failures, 80 successes.

Etc.

It’s something that happens suddenly when you least expect it. It’s something that needs to click in your brain, and the only way for you to make it click is through constant failure.

I vividly remember the day when it all clicked. I went out with my successful friend on a beautiful summer day. We spent some time walking around the city and talking about life. It was mid-afternoon, and we had plans to go out that night and do our usual cold approaching. Suddenly, I saw two beautiful women walking across the street. My friend told me to go and make a move. I walked across the street and came up from behind them. I was smooth and confident. One of the two women (the one I was not going for) even started wing manning me. I got a solid number close. I could tell she was attracted to me, and we ended up going out a few times.

That was my first cold approach of the evening. That night, I approached dozens of beautiful sexy women, who were all my type, the kind of women my younger self would get crushes on, and I had an absurd success rate of 90 percent.

I was in the zone. Those who have been in the zone know what I’m talking about. It feels as though you can’t lose or fail. It feels like every interaction will go well. You are at your most confident. You are at your smoothest. You feel as though you can control the fabric of reality. You feel like every beautiful woman you talk to will be attracted to you. It’s an amazing feeling. It’s what I call God Mode. You find every woman looking at you with “fuck me” eyes. Every word and every action that comes from you is gold. You feel elated and exalted. Women can sense it. It feels like magic. That night I even had an attractive guy stop me and ask for advice. He was in disbelief. He was tall, he was good-looking, and he had muscles. Unfortunately for him, he did not have my charisma or my state of mind. I gave him some advice and then kept going.

Again, this state of mind, this experience of God Mode, happened suddenly. The day prior, I faced constant rejection, and then like magic, I was in God Mode.

Do you want to reach God Mode? Then go out and get rejected hundreds of times. Lift weights. Groom yourself well. Improve your style. Eventually, it will click.

People always say that women want a guy with money, status, a good car, a Greek God physique, or some other bullshit.

None of those matters as much as you think. I was just a 22-year-old normal guy floating on air attracting dimes and models.

There is NOTHING that beats charisma. There is NOTHING that beats confidence. There is NOTHING that beats being in God Mode.

If you want to become successful with women, this is all you need:

- A decent physique. Doesn’t have to be anything special, you just must not look fat or skinny. Lift some fucking weights. I consider myself a 7 in the looks department, and for a long time, I considered myself a 6 or lower.

- Decent style. Again, doesn’t have to be anything expensive. I usually just wear black jeans, white shoes, a button-down shirt, and a couple of accessories like a watch. You just must make sure it fits you well and that you feel like yourself in your clothes.

- Nice grooming. Get a nice haircut and find a barber you can trust to be consistent. Line up your facial hair if you have some. Clean up your eyebrows. Cut your nails. Be clean and presentable. Use a couple of skin care products if you’d like.

- Balls. You must have balls. If I didn’t have balls, then I would have never found the success I found. Before you can become a pro, you need to get rejected constantly.

- Good environment. There is a reason I decided to move to the busiest part of the city. It’s because I knew there would always be women around. Things will be more difficult if you live in a small town, so be smart about where you decide to live.

- People who can push you. Without my successful friend, it would have taken me longer to learn the things I learned.

- A strong mind. You will fail a lot, but this must not stop you. I didn’t let my depression from age 13 to age 16 stop me. And it took me from age 18 to age 22 to reach God Mode. That’s a long fucking time. So don’t get too down on yourself and understand that everyone’s process is different. Might take you longer, might take you less time.

- Being open to learning. I never once got resentful of my friend. Instead, like a sponge, I absorbed his knowledge.

I should note that one of the things that led me to reach my first night of God Mode was to stop mimicking my friend and copying his cold approaching style. Everyone’s style of cold approaching is different, and one of the reasons I kept failing was that I was trying too hard to be like my friend. It was only when I developed my unique style that felt true to who I am that I was able to reach my first God Mode night.

After that amazing night, I went out again the following night, and this time, it went even better than the first night. My 90 percent success rate turned into 95 percent. Of the dozens of beautiful attractive women I approached, I had 2 or maybe 3 rejections at most.

The following week I went out with some of those women, one of them being a singer from California. She was incredibly sexy, and I was attracted to her from the moment I saw her. She has a big social media following. I was persistent in getting her (something that might seem contradictory to Red Pill values). Persistence is underrated, women love it. On our first date, she told me that some of the guys she had gone out with had “fanboyed” over her. She liked that none of her success fazed me. Needless to say, we had a great night.

I can make this post a lot longer by talking about other great experiences and giving specifics like how to escalate, how to pass shit tests, etc, but I want the main point of this article to be about cold approaching and reaching the state of mind I call God Mode. Everything becomes easy after that.

One last thing I’ll point out is that once you reach God Mode, you won’t always be in this state of mind; it comes, and it goes. When I reached God Mode for the first time, the elation and pure confidence lasted 2-3 weeks. I was under the impression that it would last forever, but that’s not how it works. Like a physical muscle, it’s something you must constantly work on. You must go out there and prove to yourself why you deserve it. Courage creates clarity and exaltation, not the other way around. With that said, once you reach God Mode for the first time, you’ll know at the back of your mind that it’s possible. I hope all of you can reach this state of mind as well. All the best brothers.
