You do You

This really needs to be posted on every thread in here.

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Naturally, but isn't it worth at least giving some thought to what could be done on a personal level for the greater good of humanity?

[–]stonepimpletilists 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If you've truly built your fortune, and your goals are behind you, of course start looking at your legacy.

I'm seriously doubting you're there though.

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why wait until then if you can make incremental changes now that could have a lasting impact over time?

[–]stonepimpletilists 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

yeah, fix you.

no one wants half a man to fix the world. How are you expecting it when you don't have your own life on lock?

Bill Gates didn't start curing polio until after he made microsoft

[–]ricky_rayno[S] -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Haha I'm not talking about being a bill gates. I don't mean enacting change on such a broad scale. I'm talking on a much much smaller. Akin to recycling.

[–]EuronPacificus 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How can you change society, if "AWALT"? This is one of the fundamental paradoxes of TRP. Do you think women will willingly give up their newfound freedoms?

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why I posed this question to trp. Of course I wouldn't expect women to willingly give up their newfound freedoms. They would never relinquish power to beta blue pill men. However, what all women want deep down is to submit to a dominant alpha male. If things change course in a big way I would think its possible that they would submit once again. Sure, they will probably shit test and fight it like crazy, but its in their nature to submit to a strong and dominant frame

[–]splinterbeard0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No need to convince any woman about giving up her freedoms. Women in the workplace is inevitable and freedom comes along with that. That's a good thing. We have more people generating economic gains.

The problem is the betas who let lazy women freeload.

The problem is the injustice in the way men are treated by then law. It really turns the government into a beta that wants to play captain Sav a ho with your taxes.

[–]abdada12 points13 points14 points 10 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

Society is not broken.

It was never broken.

If you only seek tribulation, that's all you'll find. If you only seek comfort and contentment, you'll see it everywhere.

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The trend in western countries has been the demonization of masculinity. Men are forced to repress their natural instincts. This is going against the laws of nature and what has allowed us to survive and evolve into the most dominant species. Society may not be broken, but the vast majority have lost their way

[–]abdada4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't see this anywhere. Except in TV which is designed for the bread and circus crowd.

"Bread and circuses" as a phrase was first said about 2000 years ago. Panem et circenses.

Nothing changes. The grunts will always grunt.

Pareto Principle: 80% of men in any society are grunts.

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Is that not why the manosphere was created? I agree with the pareto principle but the definition of grunt seems to have chamged

[–]abdada5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

TRP communities have been around since the 70s. I've been on some since the very early 90s (BBS FidoNet forums).

The vast majority of man-oriented communities exist as a form of entertainment and a profit stream for the top 20%.

Because I've been involved for almost 2 decades (using my real name and having an open door policy for people to come and hang out), I'll say openly that MOST TRPers I meet are permanently stuck in the anger phase.

Basically, even in TRP, 80% are grunts and consumers.

The few who seek power and are determined will rise above it. Most of those end up producing content for the consumer side to devour.

Pareto was right.

[–]scrubzor5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

These are platitudes that sound nice on paper but are removed from reality.

You think that enslaved peoples in early America were going to find contentment with their situation merely by looking at it from a different angle?

Wether or not society is "broken" could be debated. But there is certainly room for improvement. There are some injustices and evils in this world that will never be solved through "seeking contentment" as you've put it.

[–]abdada3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Pareto Principle.

80% of ANY society are cretins. 20% are lords.

Nothing changes. If you are a cretin, you'll see stress everywhere. Step out of that viewpoint and see success everywhere.

[–]KungPaoEllenTheFist 2 points2 points2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

With the destruction of marriage, the cretins have no motivation to contribute more labor than is needed for subsistence. If they are only putting in enough effort to survive, then society will collapse.

You talk a big game, but you aren't enough of a badass to keep society afloat on your own. Enjoy the decline. It is coming whether you believe in it or not. Western society is fucked.

[–]abdada1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

You talk a big game, but you aren't enough of a badass to keep society afloat on your own.

I don't need to keep society afloat on my own. Society is not my responsibility.

Enjoy the decline.

I was born in 1974. I accepted adulthood at 13. Every year since that has only been better not only for my life, but for the lives of those I choose to interact with. I have not seen any decline you speak of.

It is coming whether you believe in it or not.

No, it isn't. Markets adapt instantly. At 15 my parents took me to the DDR to see Communism in action. Guess what? Markets worked (black markets) and I saw a lot of successes although they still had to hide it.

At 19 I started visiting Africa and Asia annually and hanging out in POOR societies. Guess what? Even among the poor I saw wealth. Even among the downtrodden I saw success. I don't focus on the losers and cretins, I focus on the winners and lords.

Western society is fucked.

Your world is what you make of it. I see beauty everywhere I look. I see opportunity for those who want it. I see how I can gain wealth and value from every person who passes me on the street.

[–]KungPaoEllenTheFist 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

More of that big talk. You're an idiot. The pillars that prop up civilization have been toppled and it is all coming down. Your wishful thinking and dick swinging prose are useless.

[–]abdada1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

You know that people have called for the end of civilization for well over 6000 years, right?

It's too bad your life sucks so bad that all you see is darkness. But in the TRP communities, a lot of dudes end up in permanent anger mode.

[–]KungPaoEllenTheFist0 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm not angry. I just don't have my head in the clouds.

[–]Dangerestdrag 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I see your point but after reading "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl a psychologist who was kept at Auschwitz for a few years I will say that it is very much so possible to find contentment in even the bleakest of scenarios and it is when man stops looking for them that their will breaks and they are soon to die. Happiness is relative and our body wants to be happy, give it a chance to look and happiness you will find.

[–]abdada0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Frankl's book is on my recommended reading list for guys in perma-anger mode. Excellent writing.

[–]Dangerestdrag 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It has really gotten me through it, it helped me out a lot and I didn't even realize it until you mention it. Before reading it red pill felt very toxic but when I came back this more recent time after reading it, everything made a lot more sense. Any other recommended readings?

[–]abdada0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

it. Before reading it red pill felt very toxic but when I came back this more recent time after reading it, everything made a lot more sense.

Remember that the vast majority of red pill HAS to be toxic because it isn't like successful dads and business leaders are going to actually have time to circlejerk online. The community aspect is built either of men-in-transition or men-selling-information.

Any other recommended readings?

Harry Browne's "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World" is really good. Made a difference for me when I was 17 and first came across it in a library. Had the fortunate luck to later meet and connect with Browne who was a pseudo-mentor over email for part of my 20s.

Also, his book Fail-Safe Investing was amazing. Since I followed his advice (modified somewhat by throwing in 2 more targets: 20% rental income and 20% crypto currency), I haven't had a single year where my net worth decreased. Even during market crashes and housing bubbles popping.

[–]Dangerestdrag 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A mentor is really something I have been working on finding, I haven't had a strong male in my life for awhile now. How should I go about finding one?

[–]abdada0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Find the old man at your job who know one pays attention to but everyone relies on. The building engineer, for example.

One of my life long mentors is my doctor (retired). Another mentor of mine is a flamboyant queer Cuban who has a knack for real estate. I met him through his mother who was a customer of mine when I was 18. He says I'm his best friend of 20+ years but I'm beneath him in almost all attributes. Dude is a flaming homo but beds more women than any Chad. Weird world.

[–]NeoreactionSafe2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

You begin by understanding human nature.

"Monkey see, Monkey do, I can do it better than you."

That sentence summarizes primates in general. We all imitate each other to learn what is desireable. Then we compete against each other over those desires and that's how we get on each others nerves.

Betas simply imitate the emotional indoctrination of the Feminist system they experience.

Alphas stop imitating the Feminist system and fall back to natural masculinity.

We still imitate all the time (even on Red Pill) but we learn about how natural man functions as opposed to this fraud of Feminism.

Fix society?

We all need to wake up about Feminism first.

Then we need to take power and control from the Oligarchs that rule over us and allow the Feminist brainwashing.

...the Oligarchs own everything, the media, even Google is manipulated by the Oligarchs in their search engines.

For "advanced" discussion go to Dark Enlightenment.

Red Pill is just the beginning of the process of understanding.

You might as well ask how to reverse the direction of a Tsunami wave. There's tension that's been building up for hundreds of years, and lately it's been peaking. More than once I heard (non-sjw) women referring to the "war between the sexes" with utmost seriousness. The tension has to resolve itself, one way or another. If you want to make plans, imho you should either concentrate on building a shelter, or making plans to rebuild once the aftermath hits and everyone realizes how lost they are.

[–]Dangerestdrag 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's not centuries of conflict, its 2 or 3 elitedaily articles being shared on facebook. How many women know the rape stats are a lie, how many women know that women are the aggressor in most domestic disputes, women are a majority in every election since the 80's, and control 2/3rds of consumer wealth. Our populace is being fed lies, it isn't centuries of tension, just your standard crooked consumerism.

[–]robotghow0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Imho the tension started a little before the French revolution. It's been building ever since. It got a huge boost during the world wars, when women started integrating into the work-force in mass. The roles are changing, borders are moving all the time, just like two countries with countless skirmishes going back and forth. Feminism is at its 3rd wave but even the "1st wave" is just a continuation of a previous wave. The lines are blurring more and more, and at some point something is going to give, one way or another.

How many women know the rape stats are a lie

None that I know.

[–]remember131 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Dude, firstly you are talking about the Anglo-sphere. Trust me, in a society like Romania, we have a ton of other social issues, but lack of machismo is not one of them.

Secondly, you can't just revert back to "the natural order", because there is no such thing. You probably have pre-1960's America in mind, which trust me, as lovely as it sounds to us guys, seems like hell on earth for a modern womyn.

What we can all do is change the world little by little. Marry somebody who shares your values, or be in a long LTR if you are afraid of getting divorced rape. Father children that will carry on your legacy. Or start a blog, write a book, invest in something that you think will benefit your cause. The Red Pill is not a gospel that you can go out and preach. It's a set of tools, but you still have to do the work.

Furthermore, "civilization" in itself is anti-masculine. Men thrive in small packs that hunt all day. Ask somebody nowadays to do something like that, and they will ,9/10 times, say "no".

[–]ricky_rayno[S] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I meant the heavily Americanized countries.

Not necessarily the 50s ideal but maybe something like the man actually being the head of the household and making the important decisions again. Really just reversing the trends that were observed in the post about tourists in the Mediterranean.

[–]remember131 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you can begin by telling fat people that they are fat. My great-grandfather did that and look at the obesity rate of Romania during the 1940's. Oh, sorry forgot, that was because of a famine.

Firstly, you can't fix all of the trends. I mean you can, but you won't have time for anything else. Secondly, a strong man is the head of the household, even in America. Thirdly, if you read the stories from the wall post, you would find that a post-wall woman has it pretty good nowadays.

What you can do is start a "family values" campaign. I want to go into politics in Romania to fight feminism and SJW degeneracy before they even have a foot in the door. What I have in mind is exactly that. Celebrate the contrast between the sexes (women are beautiful, men are strong- to put it in childish terms). Furthermore, the fact that Romania is still pretty religious will guarantee me massive support.

Another thing that I will do (in terms of propaganda) is contrast a traditional home with a divorced one, the show the daughters of both of them: the traditional one is now a lawyer, the other one is doing a slut walk.

This could get me fried in the West, but that's why I am in Romania.

[–]Lunchbox_Larry2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Nice man, good luck.

I like your point of view. Reminds me of that quote, "You can try and carpet the whole world; or you can just put on slippers."

Get into politics, push those "family values" and change your piece of planet.

[–]hamstercide1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Remove womens' suffrage. Problem solved.

[–]pennyscan0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't see it as a sexual dynamic, but a technology dynamic.

Whatever becomes technically possible will cause the primary shaping of future society.

A current problem is satiation. Achieving perfections and over indulgence in all domains. Food, entertainment, sex etc. This too will likely be solved by technology.

[–]exoduslife0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Permanent change on such a huge scale has to start on a small level. With yourself first, your neighbor, family, friends, community, town, city, state, country, world.

Fair point; the issue I see with this is that more people are out for themselves (looking after number one), i don't have a problem with this, but the percentage of them against the percentage of those who want to 'fix' society are out of balance and the former group is getting bigger faster than the latter.

Most people need an incentive to change - doctor tells you your cholesterol is high, change your lifestyle or die; people make fun of you because you're fat, go on a diet and start working out. A large portion of humanity / society is too comfortable, they don't want to step out of the safe bubble they have constructed and they don't give two shits about what happens outside it.

[–]throwawayyourliberty0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fix yourself before even thinking about fixing externalities.

[–]Limekill0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

"how can we lead all of humanity back to its roots?"

You cannot, technological change has created this (the pill and tinder) and there is nothing you can do to change this (just like you can't go back and de-invent the car or a nuclear weaponry). Thats why even the powerful (like Trump, etc) cannot stop the changes.

The best is to show your children the truth of how society is (i.e. do not raise them bluepill, teach them about finance, etc). Thats enough to protect your family.

[–]harkrank 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Mankind has conquered it's environment completely and industrialization and weapons of mass destruction has made war impossibly expensive. The only resource that isn't in surplus is the female womb, that's why the value of women are greater than ever before.

Men aren't needed as producers or protectors anymore. Violent means of achieving power are limited as all violence escalates until the threat of industrialized war puts a limit to violence.

There is nothing to be done to reverse progress. The demand for women will equalize wealth globally and rich nations who do not let this happen will cease to exist as their population decrease will make them die out. This process should however take more than a hundred years.

[–]leodoestheopposite 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I disagree. It might happen in a distant future, but not in our lifetime. The status quo is here to stay because it serves the vast majority of people very well, or they believe so.

We who have found TRP we are a minority, I am speaking for myself, but I feel that my story is somewhat common with TRP community: I was raised BP and loved it, I loved its promises: be a nice guy and life will work out for you, you will meet the woman of your dreams, you know, the nice girl, and you will live happily ever after.

When it didn't work out I was told: the right one will come along, someone who will value who you are, just be yourself.

Well, we all know how that went.

Today I know that it's not about meeting the right woman, but it's about being the right guy, being happy for myself, living my own life according to my dreams and interests. Women (yes plural) will follow as a byproduct, not as the main focus of my life.

Living this was is a disservice to the vast majority of women, to white knights * BP guys (the vast majority), religious organizations, politicians, and businesses who rely on a BP world (this is material for another post).

We are the rebels, we are fighting our own revolution, do no expect mainstream to embrace us, quite the contrary they want to suppress us and make us go away: we are bad role models; we threatens what they have work hard, very hard to achieve, and they will protect it by any means possible.

Anglo-American Ethnonationalism focusing on restoring traditional values; removing feminism and NWO organizations like freemasonry and the Zionist Israel lobby / Rothschild dynasty.

[–]Algernoq0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

First of all, consider that people telling you "society is broken in X way" almost always stand to profit from your (unpaid) concern and engagement. You get riled up and buy their shit or at least spread their memes.

But to answer your question, build technology to change the game and get rich in the process. Or organize the Betas into an "Occupy"-type movement and get rich in the process. It takes a massive lever (organization of other people) to move the world.

e.g. Make a dating app that's pretty good at figuring out how slutty people are.

e.g. Make and market a service that helps rich Alphas have literally 1000 children through surrogate mothers. Make it humiliating enough for poor Betas that they riot and change the laws.

etc.

Alternatively, Enjoy The Decline. My sexual fetish is detonating nuclear devices in your city. Sorry to disrupt.

[–]RealRational0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Frankly man, if you have to ask then you aren't ready to contribute on that scale.

Those of us who are have been for a long time already, and if you don't see how then you need to focus on discovery and comprehension.

[–]NidStyles-1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The only way to fix any of this, is to push back to a traditional culture, and rebuild cultural divisions.

Feminism comes from a very specific culture that originates in the middle-east. All of these communist and delusional ideas come from this one single culture. The only way to get it out of your society, is to force it out.

Nothing else will work, because that culture is heavily infested with DT's and other mental types that are stronger than the typical beta male of the west. That choice to support that future is on you.

I think most of the people here have chosen the path of least resistance.
