The real hook for VR and sexbots isn't going to be realism. Instead it's going to be about blending fiction with versimilitude. Why bother with realistic forms and personalities when you can literally create the girl of your dreams in VR or robot form?

It's fairly obvious by now that the life of the beta men has been becoming harder and harder in the last decades, but they still had a chance once women hit the wall and had to lower their expectations. But now?

A woman settling for a beta provider is not a real chance.

But I'll take my chances in a world full of hbbs.

I suspect anti aging technology will be much like smartphones - advanced but mass produced and relatively cheap.

Won't be tens of thousands, at least not in the long term. Like every technology, the price will come down. The only difference is if it is extremely labor intensive, which it almost certainly won't be.

Unless this gene therapy can literally cover up every single physical sign of aging, it won't change the sexual market place. As long as there are ways to tell a young woman from an old woman, no matter how subtle, there will be a wall.

While their physical appearance may stay the same, their personality will continue to wither. I had a plate that was a paid runner, in her mid 30s. Amazing body. She was also pretty fun to hang out with, appreciated my masculinity, the way I made her feel feminine, and the sex was killer. I kept her around because I actually liked to spend time with her. It was easy. During that same period I dropped hotter, younger plates that were just huge pain in the asses or tiring to maintain.

Now, solutions:

As Sandman noted, with Sex Robots being an actual possibility in the near future we will not even need women as far as sexual gratification goes, assuming we can afford them
VR is also an option, since we can create a world that's perfectly fitting to our own values and interests and effectively live there, alone or with like-minded people, cutting off people we might not want to interact with, although I have the feeling there might be quite a strong push for "equality" there as well, and I'm seriously worried considering all the latest news on governments pushing harder and harder for controlling and monitoring Internet (check Australia for a recent example)
Genetic Therapy to change things in our biological programming (potentially to decrease our natural sex desire so as to be less controlled by it) would be an option as well
Same thing effectively with nanotechnology and other types of cyborgization

Now, these are the tech-heavy ideas coming to mind. There are many other possibilities, but effectively we need to consider tech growth into our own equations for the future, because it's not going away, and it's accelerating, fast (how long ago was it that we didn't have access to the whole database of knowledge of humanity in our pocket?).

It won't stop young women being sweeter in personality than their 70 year old counterparts. Men will still find that attractive.

Anyway there are multiple scenarios availbe, not just a liberal utopiA. War. EMP to the grid. R nic collapse. The rise an authoritarian or theocracy. Faster than light/wormhole travel. Any of these things an disrupt you enivitable future. Nothing is written in stone.

We're talking about slowing the aging process. A 'nope' at 27 could become a 'meh i guess'. The most genetically and environmentally advantaged will be pushed further along the bell curve. This all just furthers the gap between the average and the fortunate.

This will not be accessible to all in this century, in the way presented. Once we get through the early hiccups, we will have an effective and expensive solution. Some basic over-priced tech will be widely available because that is great business. The top shelf solutions will be far more comprehensive, difficult to implement, and vastly more costly (and perhaps illegal at some point).

Girls will continue to fight among themselves for Chads, and Chads will continue smashing hotties. Chad gets to be Chad for longer.

The Wall isn't just about looks. The primary structure of The Wall is competition. In our society it's acceptable for a 39M to date a 29F. Not for a 26F to date an 18M. Hypergamy will always exist and women will always gut each other to get the top men. So, a 35F has competition from 22F's to 40+F's. While a 35M only has competition older than he is. Further, these 35F's are trying to get a narrow group of men (34-40). When Mr.44M comes along with a six figure salary she will hamster herself into the relationship.

Also, there is no technology coming that extends a woman's biological clock, or accompanying hormones.
