I think this is a complete oversimplification. I can see why you think that, but I wouldn't put things in such absolute categorical terms. Everything About Denzel Washington's character was alpha, his body language, tone of voice, and supreme confidence. He differs from a typical beta orbiter / white knight in red pill context as he has no desire whatsoever to sleep with worthless prostitute hamster. Its as if you helped your elderly neighbor carry her groceries, its not orbiting as you do not view her as a potential partner in any way.

To me its about anti-hero alpha male dominating / exerting his superiority over other alpha males, who have a different ideological code. The girl is irrelevant - he doesn't want her affection or even her pussy.

Denzel's character saw an injustice (child prostitution) and made it his purpose to get rid of it - and he didn't want anything in return.

A true Alpha male with a warrior mindset sees an injustice, knows he can do something about it, and damn well does it. The fact that he's also saving a female is almost inconsequential. He saves the girl because something inside him tells him he must, not because he wants something out of it in the end. Isn't holding frame acting true to your alpha warrior instincts regardless of what a woman thinks or does? He's on a whole different level where his frame is such a part of him that it being used to get the girl ceases to even occur to him.

Do you guys know who Denzel Washington is? Forget Training Day, do you know who Denzel Washington is? Forget Book of Eli too. Like, fuck, this guy has been making movies for at least 20 years and they have all been good. If it's an action movie, he's probably playing the role of a bad ass mother fucker, because that's been his typecast for years and years and years.

This guy doesn't make bad movies.

God. I loved Denzel's Alonso character in Training Day. Why can't again he play an anti-hero who does things only if they benefit him? I dont care about the guys saying he is alpha in Equalizer, but an alpha male doesn't go out of his way to help people without it benefiting him. Denzel was a greater beta male in the Equalizer. He was essentially the prostitute's beta provider/protector.

Did you even see the same movie? McCall (Denzel Washington's character) was closer to MGTOW than a Beta Orbiter, and just about everything he said and did was Alpha.

Everything piece of his personal philosophy was about personal progress, taking care of yourself, and taking charge of your life and changing it if you don't like it. He adheres to his own moral code, and only stops when his internal compass is satisfied. He lives life on his own terms, and to me, that's RP as fuck.
