This is going to be a short and sweet post. Probably more for the newbies who are just learning about self improvement and unplugging. It isn’t concerned about sexual strategy and more geared to those who want to improve their lives in a general sense.

The gym has taught me two lessons for life:

  1. Consistency will yield results
  2. Everyone sucks at the start, everyone grows as they continue to push

To be good at anything in life, you must consistently put effort into it. In the gym, if you work out on a regular basis and keep your diet in check, you will become a beast. Maybe not the same beast as the genetically gifted or the steroid user, but a beast nonetheless. Same concept applies to all areas of life. Want to learn a language? Fucking study. Learn the guitar? Fucking practice. Be a better conversationalist? Have more fucking conversations. Get rid of the social anxiety? Fucking approach everyone. This is a a hard and steadfast rule for improvement. Luck does play a role for success in life. Some people are just born to pick up instruments more easily, or be a math genius, or be a bodybuilder. Shit, some people get lucky and you are probably not one of them. You will have to fight for your improvement and consistently putting the effort in. If you do, you will get miles ahead of the average person.

Now obviously, starting something new always sucks. It’s fucking difficult. You will suck compared to everyone else doing the same thing but it gets better. Just like the guy who couldn’t bench 95 pounds to save his life will be able to put up 225 for 5x5, you will eventually stop sucking. You will learn that fucking guitar and people will appreciate your new skill. You will stop being a socially retarded asshole. You will get big, learn that language, get to fucking girls, ect. IF you keep pushing your limits consistently. So get out there and start pursuing the things you are passionate about. Life is short, do you really want to waste it watching Netflix and jacking off?
