Of course your appearance is absolutely important when it comes to success in life in general, not just dating. There is no one formula for dressing that fits all, you have to adapt to situations. Recently ive been finding that a lot of guys tend to be very out of touch with how they should dress compared to how they actually look most of the time, or even on nights out. I think its a no brainer that if youre going to a bar to meet women wearing an underarmor gym tshirt is gonna look goofy no matter how good looking you may be.

Taking me for example, I tend to dress very modern, like sweaters with bomber/puffer jackets and typical shoes like jordans or timbs, which i thought was fine but recently ive been experimenting with smart casual and i found that the style fits me very well. Im starting to think that way of "modern" dressing makes me look like a teenager. In terms of appearance, only recently did i finally accept that a haircut is a necessary investment every 2 or 3 weeks because i look awful when it grows out and i look infinitely better with a nice fade and lined beard, the difference is immediately apparent by how many more looks and compliments i get.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Club vs bar vs day vs restaurant attire.... etc and extras like accessories, do necklaces or watches help or are they gimmicks unless you have something obviously expensive
