I have older sisters. They all have sons, so they all had an "A-Hah!" moment when they realized why little brother is the way he is. They all married high-functioning betas, so for the two nephews who are basically embryonic Red Pillers, I wind up explaining How To Handle Shit to them, from decking the schoolyard bully, to university stuff, career stuff and with the Ladyfolk.
One of the best kept secrets in life is that women don't understand men any better than we understand women. They are always trying to find a more complex explanation that doesn't exist. Or as I tell them, "When I tell you something, there is little to no subtext. So 'I'm not hungry' isn't a secret message that you need to lose 20 lbs. Although that's probably not a bad idea.". I have a well-developed survival instinct so I usually leave that last bit off. Usually.
I taught the younger of them some 'Man Speak' to make her work life easier (she is the only woman in Sr management where she works). So she was having a problem getting her boss to understand something abt her dept and so I told her how to explain it to him.
Her: "I don't understand what you just said."
Me: "You don't have to. Your boss will."
Short answer: He did, and she got what she needed.

If I could, I would pour you a scotch. This is exactly how a woman sees it

Be masculine, have masculine polarity and your sisters will appreciate it and be much more receptive to you, and you control them.
Be beta and have no masculine polarity and your sisters will not respect you, therefore you are controlled by them.
Nothing sexual about this by the way.

True. But reframing a whole relationship after years of BP is a long journey.
No, it's simple and instsnt. Woman do not have rational memory in this case. As soon as you have masculine polarity she will change instantly.
Really? That's encouraging. I'm still on the path to losing my own beta-ness right now, but maybe as soon as I do she'll forget my weak moments.

Talk to her like she is a dude. You're not trying to Fuck her right? So don't sugar coat it. Be honest with her but don't try to save her feelings or what have you. Whether or not she listens to what you have to say is her problem but when she inevitably screws up and comes back to you after being burned you can always say "Told you so." I have two sisters so I can empathize with wanting the best for your siblings but at the end of the day you're not super man and you can't save everyone.

I talk to my sister like she's one of my close guy friends. We get along really well and hang out pretty often. It's cool having a sister because we can talk about our problems without much judgement and we share a lot of the same traits and experiences. We are only a year apart and when we were young we got in a lot of fights and I had to protect her from her own stupidity a few times, but now she's settled down with a decent guy and they have a kid so she's really mellowed out.
I feel like my sister is just another girl you can't break frame with or she'll lose respect. I tried talking about my problems with her, got the typical "I really feel like I should empathize with you because that's what good people do but really I'm just annoyed you can't deal with this shit already" response. Not in her words, of course, but her actions.

She wants the same for you that you want for her. She wants you to be a strong man, with options and mastery of his life, who doesn't take shit. You are an example to her, even tho you're a man.
Right. Increase smv. Always.

If she has a personality disorder, be it a woman or a man, there is practically nothing you can do to help her. She will eventually go down the drain,.pulling along everyone that is attached to her. You should detach emotionally, and accept the big possibility that she will be fucked for life.
Again, this is not because she is a woman - it is because she is disordered (if you used the term with its scientific meaning).
I don't know if I can accept that. I'll take the probability of being pulled down the drain for the possibility of helping her.
[–]RedEyesBlueShades points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
You'll go down, and won't be able to help her. Sorry, but it's the brutal truth.
Every man needs to accept that some women are beyond repair. It's easy for me to say and not care because it doesn't touch me personally, I know. But I'll tell you a story that might help.
When it comes to running her own business, my sister is a basket case. Otherwise a good mother and wife. But the business, her idiocy basically threatened her entire family.
When I figured it was all about to explode, I had a conversation with my dad. Was a most emotional conversation, and a very heated one at that. He was playing the blame game, I could care less about who was to blame and was simply talking about what to do, given the situation. At some point I just had to raise my voice and take charge of the whole conversation and just tell him to stop blaming shit and to act, to do stuff, to solve the problem. That's when it dawned on him and he pulled himself together. He finally figured out it was not the time to talk, but do.
Last I've heard about my sister's business, she started reducing her debt, which was crippling. I don't know what exactly happened, but suspect my conversation had something to do with it.
Depending on your father's backbone, i.e. RP awareness, and the relationship with your sister, this might be a way to help.
I also suspect that if this fails, she'll go down in flames.
Father is an ultra beta. Seems happy with it, though. But even he got tired of her shit eventually.
How would you react if your sister came crawling back to you looking for a provider?

What about daughters? I've raised one and she's out of the house now extremely strong willed. Reading through the redpill idk how she'll be in life. I know she runs over her man because I've made her so masculine. What should we do when raising our little girls? I don't want to raise them to be stepping stones. Any insight?
[–]whatsthisgarg points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Raising children is the same: boundaries, strong communication, leadership, delegation, doling out limited responsibilities, expectations, etc. I raised two daughters (and one son) and I'm not worried at all about how they'll do in the world. They're full of confidence, yet realistic.
Actually, I was the one who was home during the day for their entire childhood, and I've just now realized how lucky that was: if their mother had been the at-home parent, they would have been ruined, the home-life would have been miserable, and I probably would have just left. I'm considering writing a post about how to be the stay-at-home parent for men, it's that important really.
I see what your saying but I meant more on the lines of girls becoming women. My daughters a adult and very strong willed. She runs over her man and it's great now but as time moves on she's gonna get tired of her beta.
She picked the wrong guy, then. That's not on you.
She runs over her man
I would not want to see that. My son was getting pushed around very mildly by a woman; I told him to cut that shit out. Of course his mother was completely wrong about it, saying "be nice" and shit. He dumped her ass. (Oh, by the way, my wife is definitely the type who says one thing and means another; it's hilarious in action.)
Please write that, there is not much out there from that perspective.

We don't even realize how important it is for us to learn about raising children. Please do make the effort and write about your experiences.

Let me guess, you are subscribed to all the Youtube channels on how to fuck ladies the first time you meet them and sex tractics that you mentioned. Have they ever worked? I say this, because I have had sex with more girls being genuine and having fun than my friends that tried to use tactics that made them look like creeps. Anyways, this is not a good start to build a human relationship.
Your sister just as well could be a brother. People are people, they behave based on emotion, habits and what they think is right. Nobody is so fucked up to sit down and think of how to manipulate someone else. Even if they do, this is fairly obvious to any observer, and they should seek treatment.
To answer your question, your sister is a sister, a woman on the street is a woman. Not an alien. You can interact with them without fear of turning into a frog.

Glad you chimed in with this.
I'm dealing with my sisters right now on some very serious issues surrounding our aging parents whose health is failing and I made some serious mistakes in how I started treating the interactions (began a few years ago before I had become aware of the RP world). As a result of my mistakes things have gotten so out of hand with them that I may have to hard next them out of my life entirely, which is really devastating for my entire nuclear family, but unfortuantely they have gone beyond regular crazy into dangerous crazy land.
As I see it, the main mistake that I made was trying to include them as equal partners in the decision-making and really trying to respect their input even though I'm doing almost all the heavy lifting. I made matters worse by not shutting down the BS when it started and getting emotional about it (hard not to when parental health and imminent death are involved).
Given the experience I'm currently having, I would suggest that you stay firm with the core RP principles, especially staying very cool and emotionally detached. You suggested that her behavior was similar to that of an addict. Bear in mind that as the loved of an addict the last thing you want to do is be an enabler. It's painful, but usually you have to draw your supportive line and once the addict crosses it you have to let them "reach their own bottom" even when they are endangering themselves. Doing otherwise only prevents them from reaching the point that may trigger the decision to change their behavior.

This isn't really red pill theory, it belong in asktrp
The relationship between you and your sister has nothing to do with red pill, it operates far outside of that. You can't apply red pill to your relationship with your siblings, that's stupid. You can only use it as a frame of reference for her interactions with other people.
Just cut her out of your life and keep her at arms length if she's a problem.
Some people are just dicks, some have sociopathic or narcassistic tendencies.
Coming up next, let's talk about red pill cat game, how do you control your kitty with red pill?
Quality troll 4.5/5 would read again.

You're all sexist and doomed to a sad life. Treating women like people works much better. Inb4 beta.

It's not that women aren't people, it's that women and men process information differently in many observable ways, and those differences can often make a huge impact in responses to certain stimuli.
