Was in MBA class and professor asks us to get in groups and try to think up an idea of a video game targeted at women. She had each group include at least one woman.

Our group's girl was actually a gamer and so when my other male classmate and I said stuff like "a shopping game", "a game where you obtain and unlock virtual clothes and jewelry so you compare with the other girls who are playing the game" she rolled her eyes and said she actually plays COD, WOW and street fighter. Fair enough.

We end up agreeing on "revenge of the ex-gf" where as a girl who is recently single, you must beat up your ex-bf's friends, collect your belongings that you left at your ex-bf's house, and collect as many beta orbiters as possible (just kidding about this last one). Anyway, people laughed, I saw two feminists roll their eyes. They then proceeded to give their ideas.

Feminist 1: "Why don't we try to make a game that doesn't sexualize women or use violence for once...anyway, my idea for a game targeted at females is one where you are a stockbroker and you watch the market and you can make bets with fake currency. I think this game would be perfect for career driven women."

Feminist 2 (the one who was really rolling her eyes and mouthing words like "wow that's disrespectful"): "I really like Jane Eyre. Sometimes I wonder in my room by myself thinking about that book and different potential endings. I think a good game for women would be basically a game where you relive Jane Eyre's life, but can re-imagine and end the story how I as a woman would want it to end."

Anyway, amazing how in an MBA CLASS where people are asked to think logically, when asked to come up with a game that would sell, people come up with two games that would absolutely fail commercially for the sake of political correctness. In all honestly, I can see my game being a hit on FB with all the girls saying "you go girl!" or "check this game out! give that ex what he deserves!"
