TL;DR There is no bigger red flag than a wall-approaching woman (25-28) wanting to move to New York.

I was reminded of this phenomenon a few days ago after a conversation with a former plate who is now living in New York City. There is no bigger red flag than a wall approaching woman wanting to move to New York City. Now many women move to NYC right after school or for a shot at a big time job and that's fine. If a woman between the ages of 25-29 in another city tells you she wants to move to New York, turn the other way and run. There are two possible explanations for this desire to move:
1. She's not done riding the carousel.: She's probably living in another major US city but her friends are settling down and/or getting hitched and she is feeling left out. Better make my way to a city where tons of people stay single well into their 30s! OR.
2. She's ready to hop off and thinks her chances at finding a BB are better: New York is the beta bux capital of the world. Tons of alpha males, but tons of betas with plenty of money to toss around on a girl that used to be way out of their league. luckily for us, many of them are getting wiser by the day. It doesn't change the fact that women flock to New York to find a finance guy.

If you're in a major US city and a girl expresses her desire to move to New York, she's a plate at best. If you're in New York and you know a mid-20s girl that moved there for "a change," she's got an agenda. And in both scenarios wrap it the fuck up.
