I dropped porn too on 9th April and I really noticed some changes. First of all, I've become much more sensitive to female presence, I don't mean just sexual, I sense a certain primal attraction between us. The best part is that I see they notice me notice them. Having been through nofap, I realized that my sexual drive is a metric of my SMV.

So although it is hard, the sexual frustration I have at times, I use to increase my SMV. I'm often amazed at how creative my brain is when masturbation is not an option.

I actually stopped looking at porn about a month ago (have had two weak moments, though it's gotten easier to abstain and I don't expect any more slip-ups). The effects are quite noticeable - more motivation/energy to go out and meet women is the top pick. I find myself smiling and acting more flirty to random girls I run into, and most of the time they reciprocate. Still too early to attest to long-term effects, but the short-term are undoubtedly there.

I concur. I have some fetishes that will always be part of my personality, and that's fine, but I want to at least strongly minimize them and have them not be so needed.

For the most part, I've had no issue mixing both submissive and dominant positions in relationships.

That said... I did notice that switching to a ketogenic diet (high fat and protein, low carb) made me naturally more inclined to be dominant, and every time I dropped off the diet the change reversed.

Masturbation has had little (if any, because I am conscious that it obviously messes with hormone levels and thus, placebo effect may be at fault here) effect on wanting to dom/sub, it has only affected my sexual initiative.
