Life Will Punish You for Not Being the Main Character

I’ve figured it out. Maybe not fully yet, but enough to see the pattern. Life will punish you if you’re not the main character in your own story. You will suffer for it.

Women are part of life, and the same rule applies to them. Humans are hypergamous—whether consciously or subconsciously, we are wired to seek the best option available. If you had to choose between two equally attractive women, but one makes you feel more comfortable and desired, you’d pick her. The criteria might vary , but the core principle remains universal.

We are driven by the instinct to pass on our genes, and most of our behavior is shaped by this, whether we acknowledge it or not. If you don’t have options in life—whether in relationships, career, or social status—you will suffer. Simply having options earns you respect and makes others fear losing you because it signals high value.

This is crystal clear in the professional world. If you have rare, valuable skills, corporations will compete for you. But if you do a basic, replaceable job, you won’t get much respect. The exact same thing applies to how women see you. Think of them as corporations, but with Sexual Market Value (SMV) criteria instead.

Relationships: The Harsh Truth

If you’re like me and prefer stable long-term relationships, then you need to choose a girl who has genuine desire for you. You might worry that she’ll lose interest over time—and yeah, that’s possible. So what? If it happens, it happens. The real problem is that you are often the one who ruins her burning desire by unconsciously acting on Nice Guy Syndrome and sugarcoating it under the name of "love" to avoid feeling guilty.

Fix your shit first. Read No More Mr. Nice Guy—that book will change your life.

You should also talk with your partner about fixing your mental barriers. But listen, involve her in fixing it, don’t dump your emotions on her like a crying bitch. The biggest mental barrier? Affection dependency.

You solve this by first realizing that you can attract women and that there are plenty who are compatible with you. We live in a world of abundance—don’t fall into the scarcity trap.

The second, and most important, solution is self-sufficiency. If you’re a Nice Guy, you’ve been conditioned to believe that you’re not enough and need external validation to feel relief—keeping you trapped in a cycle of approval-seeking. Break the loop. Read No More Mr. Nice Guy, you frustrated chimp.

Final Thought: You Are Enough

This might sound cringy, but unless you truly believe you are enough, you will struggle in this rat race—and you’ll die anyway.

So do what’s good for you. Do what makes you feel alive.

It might sound basic to you old-cells, but for 19-year-old me, this is a huge realization.
