Not sure where to really bring farming and TRP together but I feel it's overlooked or not spoken about enough for the value it has. This is my career choice after I finished college and I couldn't be any more satisfied with what farming work brings you. I work with fields, greenhouses, mushrooms, laying hens, recirculating aquaculture and aquaponics, honey bees, maple syrup, etc, all under the buzzword of organically grown. This knowledge of growing food really puts perspective into where healthy food comes from and the difficulty or ease it is to acquire those foods. Besides growing food you get a great indepth of machinery and construction. I’d highly recommend to anybody this job as a great way to build a lot of great skills that I believe fit well into TRP like lifting (manual labor) work ethic (hard work long days) and good people skills. The people skills that TRP provides is helpful seeing how organic farming seems to pull in a lot of hard working women which leads me to think where the fuck are you guys at? Point across so i’ll speak to the majority of you now. If you're not doing one of the categories above such as growing a garden this season you need to start. Look at food security. A large portion of the planet is already having issues and the trends are looking towards a grim picture so get your ass outside and your hands dirty. Kudos to the guys who are way ahead of me on this. Any insight on this is well accepted.
