To millennials this may seem normal. I can't emphasize enough how big of a change this is from how elite institutions and liberals generally used to operate. Free speech was viewed as sacrosanct. Now it is a nuisance in the way of full suppression of politically incorrect speech. The right of any defendant, no matter how vile, to the counsel of his choosing was also viewed as sacrosanct. No more. The ACLU defends the bill of rights only for correct thinking leftists. It's fine with ridding due process from sexual assault proceedings. Our society is headed in a very bad direction.

The incredible thing about this is lawyers have always said "everyone deserves a competent defense" as justification for defending murderers and rapists. Its pretty much the cornerstone of the profession. The most famous and well regarded lawyers in history have defended murderers they knew to be guilty.

Now that they've set the precedent for disregarding that, is being a defense attorney at any point in your life career suicide? If so, who's going to take the top spots in the field, since prosecutors and corporate lawyers are also "problematic". Are they going to rename everyplace named after Clarence Darrow? The same kind of shit-stirrers who got James Gunn fired are going to have a field day with this.

You know I've noticed something that just reinforces the idea of female hypergamy in my blue pilled mind that wants to hold on to the rainbow reality - Ever saw a picture of a girl you know/female influencer on Instagram that has the caption 'I need money', 'Poor af' or something like that ? Chances are, yes.

Ever saw a picture of a guy with a similar caption? For one, I never have. It's like people know subconsciously that a poor guy with little potential who might be attractive is not as 'valuable' as a woman with the same metrics. I think I'm beginning to understand the game a little now.
