Dude you can do whatever the fuck you desire

Trp is not some moral dogma believe what you want Nothing is set in stone

I don't understand the purpose of this thread There's been a lot of circlejerking ever since we got linked

[–]AcidentallyMyAccount[S] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I want to know if the community welcomes people who don't entirely agree. I was here WELL before the linking and I think there's just less room here now for people that aren't completely engrossed in TRP dogma.

Nobody's kicking you out for having different opinions.

If you want to leave because your opinions are unpopular, that's on you.

[–]AcidentallyMyAccount[S] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's exactly the kind of thinking I was hoping hear, very constructive thank you.

This "community" is not a collective. There are a few elders in this sub who have achieved recognition through merit, but no one speaks on behalf of the sub without being shit on. If you seek collective action or agreement you should go elsewhere.

If you feel you have the need to make pronouncements of how others should think, such as when you "think that people do have an obligation to act morally, or at the very least should feel the need to try", you may find your contributions unwelcome here. I agree with you somewhat, in that I would say "I do not associate with nor support in private those that do not act 'morally'". However I make no claims about the universality of my morality and my judgements are personal. Much of what is being railed against here with the blanket label of "feminism" consists of women telling us how we should think, feel, believe and behave, and of not respecting our agency to make our own decisions.

Gaining a better understanding of gender psychology can be useful no matter one's goals. Up to you if you wish to take advantage of the sub.

You're welcome here, but honestly I don't speak for TRP I'm just a person

We're not a hive mind, you're probably not the only one that shares these views, A LOT of us do. It's totally normal man

1) So? If that's what you want, what makes you happy don't worry about what others think. Keep in mind if you want a good LTR you BETTER have your shit together- more so than in something casual. If you want LTR's I would say a lot of what's in here is even more important.

2) Fine, and if that makes you\him happy fine. Some men want something else and look for tools to help make that happen.

3) Maintaining a healthy happy relationship is moral. Morals and ethics are also a two-way street. Be honorable- but if this is not returned leave or adjust accordingly.

4) Sure we do things as a group- my work depends on it. That does not mean I stop improving myself. What kind of a team player would I be if I did not lead when needed and bring all the abilities I have to the situation? Investing in yourself means you can share a better you.

Don't let guilt stop you from making yourself better.

Watch the video I linked in the post. All of those people worked on and with previous technologies. Perhaps to a certain degree they might have understood the science of the technology they used, but I doubt they could have also single handedly invented, developed and manufactured the tools they used.

[–]TevinKay 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The biggest thing I have taken from TRP is I as a man I can have my own opinions. Those opinions can be subject to change with concrete evidence on the ground. But one thing they are not subject to, is change due to shaming from feminists, MRAs or any other group

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If you have to ask, then you probably shouldn't.

[–]AcidentallyMyAccount[S] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Did you even read the post?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why would I waste my time going through paragraph after paragraph of you trying to rationalize how you're better than all this, then looking for validation from the rest of us? Be thankful I even took the effort to reply to your post.

Really, that's nice.

Jump or don't jump, nobody cares,

[–]IRC Mod-Anteros- 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am in a 5 year long very RP LTR but I don't see what you're getting at.

No one cares if you come or go and the way you've phrased it makes me lean towards you going. But do what you wanna do. No one else can tell you what will make you happy.

If a friend spent his whole life as a terribly awkward fat neckbeard virgin but he was happy and enjoyed life, I would consider him successful and respect him.

I feel the same way about you.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

My god, you are a pussy. Are you sure you are not a girl? Need even validation from others to stay subscribed?

Friendships? Dude, I'm a virgin neckbeard loser. My only friend that comforts me is my right hand.

It's a bit hard to profile you given how little I can be bothered reading your comment history, but I highly doubt you are a virgin or have a neckbeard.

You make yourself welcome, or you don't, the dynamics of this sub will be constantly changing, so no matter what kind of a person you are, you will either conform or get rejected.

[–]AcidentallyMyAccount[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think this probably applies to every community, not just TRP. That's a good way to consider your place in a community, stay conformed to the changing flow or differ and be rejected.

[–]1PaulRivers10 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A lot of TRP pill bends over backwards to avoid being any sort of moral dogma, so no one can really answer your question for you.

The real question is whether you think it benefits you to being part of the forum or not. I'll be in a forum for a while, then move on, just because I don't need anything from it any more.

[–]TheEyeUrnShaft -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, go away. You aren't good enough competition if you need our validation.

This isn't a club, it's a discussion of reality and you can't handle it.
