The problem I have is 2 years later and many plates since, I still hate her guts. Hate the way she treated me and lied to me, but most of all I hate myself for allowing it. I just want to forget her completely.

Holy shit.

I did this with my last oneitis and it worked wonders. Everytime I thought about sending her a text or something like that, I would go and read that letter. It made all of the emotions I was feeling back then come back as I read it, reminding me of why that shit wasn't ever gonna work out.

Writing something down is a good way to remember it (even if you never see it again), and to change your perspective of the world. Typing it won't do.

If your mind keeps drifting into beta oneitis, write a letter that says all the things about that girl which aren't special, and is easily replaceable.

Then write about all the opportunities to meet women available, and the women you've currently met.

And to finish it off, write about all the stupid and annoying shit she would do if you were in a relationship. One thing I've found is that all oneitis's are a longing for a relationship.

"With all these women out there, what makes this ho special?"

Better yet, keep a journal. Do what op says but also include after every relationship:

-lessons learned

-what did work

-what didn't work

-what you need,want, and would be good for the next relationship.

-how you can improve on your mistakes in this relationship.

The last one is the most important obviously. Then fill your journal with goals to keep busy and experience life. All that will make you a better man and the goals will help you to move on.

You've stumbled on what women, predominantly women at least, do in the last stages of a failing relationship; rewrite history. More to the point, the good no longer exists. Only the bad exists. It's why a woman can move on so quickly, and at a speed that has many men spinning in circles.

I got over two like this. It resets your brain, and I was able to feel hungry for other women that I didn't notice before. Shit works.

Not convinced that writing imaginary love/hate letters or a "list" is a good solution. At best it is a stop gap for Beta behaviour in transition. Dangerous territory of the mind here.

Love and hate come from the same place: emotional attachment.

The fact that you are spending time writing and thinking about her is emotional attachment.

Writing pseudo love/hate letters to someone that wants nothing to do with you is still Oneitis.

The best way I get over Oneitis is to be so busy with my Mission/goals and to approach new woman constantly. Once you get a plate or few... then you just go and fuck someone that actually gives you the time of day.
