"Take Me Out" is pretty Red Pill.

I've seen some Take Me Out (UK, Irish and Dutch version). There are generally 3 rounds with 30 women: first impressions based on looks, second round video displaying his job/passions or him performing a trick (magic, dancing, singing, etc - DHV). The last round (if it comes to that), is where the guy has to narrow it down to 2 women and pick one of them for a date by asking them a silly question such as: "what would you do for me if we were stranded on an island?.

The entitlement of some of these women is insane. Occasionally you'll have an 8 or 9/10 guy appear on the show and a 6/10 woman (plastered in make-up) will vote him away because "he looked cocky walking down", "I don't like his hairstyle/shoes" or some other bullshit.

The worst I've ever seen is where extremely handsome guys that sometimes have 25-30 women left after the first round (very rare) all push the no button when he says he's a blue collar worker. Women's true nature is shown on this show.

Sometimes the host calls them out on their bullshit. I remember an episode where an 8/10 guy was voted out by a 6/10 woman and the woman said he wasn't that attractive, to which the host said "you need to buy a new mirror". Cue adience "ooooooohhh, snap".

The button somehow makes the women think they have to press it every time they see an aspect of the guy on the stand that they don't like. If you are a woman and you are standing there you are basicly saying "I have tried the conventional ways of meeting men, but I really need a platform where I can maintain some form of control because if I leave it up to the guys I never get what I think I want".

Next to that, the 30 vs 1 feeling gives them all a "you go girl!" mentality.

I believe women actually get on that show with the intention to find a decent guy, but find themselves pulled back into their natural hypergamy behavior the moment they are on the spot.

Best bit of Take Me Out is when one of the girls pushes the button, say, when the chap has some Star Wars figure in a shelf in his place, and Paddy goes over to them and asks them why. Most of the time they just go "cos, like, I dunno", Paddy will then light-heartedly push the point. Really shows up how shallow some women can be.

I did watch it at one point. There were a few episodes I remember. A very attractive guy from Hertfordshire is left with two girls to pick and choose from, either a 6 who from previous (and later) episodes seemed very desperate to find a boyfriend - I mean I can only recall one time she actually switched off her light in about two seasons and that was because the guy was very undesirable - or a smoking hot 10. Naturally, he chooses the 10 and the 6 is devastated that she missed out on this guy and would spend at least another week on the show.

Cue next week's show and we find out from a "what happened after" clip that they went on a date in 'Fernandos' and she decided to friendzone him because she felt like he wasn't her type. So effectively, she wasted his time and his opportunity to find love just so she could get a trip to Spain and a nice meal out of it.

The show in itself is demeaning-as-fuck to men. You fail to find one girl interested? They and the audience will sing All By Myself in unison as you leave, rejected, unable to find love even on a reality TV show designed to pull out people desperate or fame-hungry enough to go on national television in front of millions of viewers.

As for the rejecting on that show, have to keep in mind that a lot of women that participate do it to get on TV. Going on a date means they are out of the show, so they have an incentive to say 'no' to high range guys.

this show is scripted and fake as hell. the girls are in reality models or aspiring acctresses hired on their good looks. ofcourse they're gonna be entitled.

I agree with you, I watched some episodes of the show to observe how to make a good first impression, I think its educational in some way but mostly its entertainment.

On the australian version of this I'm pretty sure they did role reversal where 30 guys judged a girl
