66 percent [of wives] would rather read a book, watch a movie or take a nap than sleep with a spouse

Think about that statistic for a second. Two out of every three married women would rather read or go to sleep than get railed by their husbands. Think how unbelievably insulting that is to the husband. As if men didn't need anymore incentive not to get married.

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillbanana7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

One thing that struck me about the stories in /r/deadbedrooms is that the low-libido spouse will do just about anything except have sex. Facebook, Game of Thrones, Candy Crush, Instagram, Reddit - they'll do this stuff for hours (and even fall asleep while doing it) rather than spend 20 minutes having sex with their spouse.

[–]IRiseFromTheAshes1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Geez man, makes it sound like the wife having sex with her husband is some kind of traumatizing experience...

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillbanana1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't it make you want to run off and get married?

[–]MooMooMooN1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The attention they get from the internet sates their sexual needs.

[–]weag5l1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This surprises you? The other 33 percent are just good liars.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

shoot best way to get great sleep is to sleep with your husband first! Sex is great for that. Natural relaxer and pain reliever too! Besides, getting to fall asleep cuddling in your husbands arms after some great sex is the best feeling in the world

[–]theredpillacct2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

that all good an all, but we are looking at the statistics which means that this is not the reality.

[–]BorMato28 points29 points30 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Knowing something is in scarce supply enhances desire, and that’s difficult to do in a marriage.

Don't let her get too comfortable.

[–]theredpillager28 points29 points30 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It just boggles my mind how they can print article after article literally detailing their hypergamy, and then come here to harangue us when we point it out. Then again, I have a penis.

[–]Silverbacked2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The primary disagreement seems to be about motive.

TRP says she settles for the BB because her declining SMV as she approaches and/or passes 30 means she can't get the commitment she wants from Alpha's.

The hamsters would argue that their choice of mate represents a maturing of taste and a change in preference for long term partners, especially for the father of her offspring.

OFC the hamsters' argument doesn't really explain why so many women opt for no fault divorce and/or cuckold their BB husbands.

Amanda Chatel, a 33-year-old writer

She writes for The Frisky, XO Jane, and HuffPo.

"I used to swear that I’d take the best sex over the love stuff any day, but recently I’ve realized that phenomenal sex will never hold a candle to real love and a healthy relationship,” Chatel says. “I fear I may have matured."

I give you The Wall.

She got married last year. I suppose that she's already bored with the sex and her hamster is on overdrive.

[–]LAMFF 24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

They really print this tripe? Best sex I ever had was whoring in Tijuana, where is the article about that?

[–]RedPillMotors6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Somewhere on Vice.com

Oh goody, let's not auto-moderate my comment for being truthful but short.

[–]chill_geddy1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yea what's up with that? They sent me a couple of messages for comments being to short

The word choice at the end made me giggle a little bit: (I don't know fancy reddit quote command so I use quotes)

"If that’s the case, you have to find someone where the relationship is more of a gentle carousel motion. No kids ever got sick from that."

Problem is most women ride the cock carousel first. This other ride is boring after that.

This article actually makes me more angry than have laugh though: (A) Two out of three wives hate fucking their husbands. Would rather not do anything than do that. (B) Over half of women that married are already ruined by the carousel. (C) The AF is made more exciting because a woman decides it's temporary. Meaning she'll never see that in a stable relationship.

Consider what "the best sex of your life" actually means. That's like saying the best moment of your life.

What is the point of sharing your life with someone like that? OR a better question: why would a man want a woman who has fallen so hard for another man?

It's official that most women have literally ruined themselves.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

They decide "it was temporary" after their AF bailed, not before

[–]analrapeage14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

“I knew [my best sex partner] was temporary, and so the great sex was the best because the sex was the relationship,” she adds. “We didn’t have to invest in anything else.”

Translation: I was a plate, but I was happy to be a plate because I knew I wasn't LTRworthy. However I'm happy he chose me, at least temporarily.

That's hamsterese for "The hot studly guys I use to revel in banging don't want me anymore so now I'm focusing on liking home ownership, vacations and credit cards "

[–]colombia40 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"That's hamsterese for "The hot studly guys I use to revel in banging don't want me anymore so now I'm focusing on liking home ownership, vacations and credit cards ""

I'm starting to notice this more and more. Especially with girls who realize they can no longer survive on Vodka and Adderall to stay thin as a new crop of young girls enters the market. They get a little chubby and wife up some beta chump in haste.

[–]2johnnight8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Excellent catch OP. The AF data is fundamental:

  • 52% of women do not marry the guy they had the best sex with.

This is most likely an understatement. It has to be higher: If the 66% would rather do something else than have sex with the spouse, than that would leave 14% who somehow are with the best sexual dude in their life, but would rather not do it with him...

[–]snobocracy7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

These numbers are really depressing if you really think about them.
In one breath these women say that they married the best sex of their life 48% of the time.
In another breath, 66% of them say they they'd rather not have sex with their husbands...
Now, there has to be an overlap there. Mathematically at least 14% of women had to have said "My husband is my best sex ever" AND "I don't want to have sex with him".

Now I assume the overlap is actually a lot higher but mathematically it must be at least 14% that are so bored of marriage that they won't even fuck the best sex of their life.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think much of the difference is the fact that many women won't provide the true answer. They're lying to be PC and not look like sluts.

[–]1996391 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The thing is that simply being in a LTR reduces their desire for you. They can't help it! Being in a marriage means living together, it means lots of nights spent lounging in sweatpants and watching netflix, it means a death of the mystery and pursuit, it means complacency. Even when these women married their best fuck, they STILL lose interest. A huge red flag to any man considering marriage, even if your SO is kinky as hell.

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That isn't that far off. Imagine you married young and the guy you married actually was the best sex of your life, but after decades of marriage, the passion is just gone - who says it's so far-fatched that both apply at the same time under comparable circumstances?

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is no way in hell I want to fuck the woman I married 20 years ago, and sure as fuck don't want the one I had 25 years ago. I want the girls who were born when I was plowing those two who are now fat, wrinkled, and used up. I got them in their early twenties and find another around the time they hit 30. They made it easier by leaving, I made it harder by marrying them. Fuck, that is expensive.

[–]Niemamnick14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Imagine this: you work a fucklot of hours every week to make money for you to pay for her expenses, her tuition fees/debts, her hobbies. You married her when she was around 28 or 29 and way past her prime. She doesn't find you as attractive as previous boyfriends/lovers. She doesn't want to be your little pornstar. She isn't loyal to you. One day you come back home and you find her in the arms of another guy. Or you see her sexting some random guy on Facebook.

But of course, you didn't see this coming when you married a girl with a long string of ex-bf's/fwb's. After all, the "past is the past".

[–]Unrelampago 5 points5 points5 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I recently got told I was someone's best sex ever. By a girl with a boyfriend.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

I hear it too, they always have a chump and I'm the side man.

[–]loin_fruit1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's crazy how easy it is to get a girl who is taken to do some wild and crazy sexual shit to you that she more than likely has never done with her boyfriend/fiance/husband. It's boring sex with them because they are predictable and theres a lack of excitement in the relationship. But with you it's exciting and dangerous and you're not the chump who kisses their ass and does everything for them. It makes their gina tingle and in the end they probably want you more than their boyfriend/fiance/husband.

Sad man. Sad.

[–]darkstout6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

the best sex is defined as something that, for many, encompasses “danger, newness and fantasy fulfillment.”

And then the very next sentence:

That’s only sensible.

Imagine if an article was written for men saying it is "sensible" for him to be attracted to a young woman and to act dangerous around her, fulfilling his fantasies of dominating/ravishing her. Women get a pussy pass for their sexuality.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Female sexuality is celebrated, male sexuality is demonized. She can want the bad boy alpha and its awesome, but we should feel ashamed for being that bad boy alpha.

[–]OKJaded4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Guys. I think we are being trolled.

"“Your best sexual relationship has likely been with the person who was most unstable and most volatile, but was very passionate,” Cooper says. “That’s like riding a roller coaster. That’s passion. But if you have a family, riding a roller coaster isn’t that great for kids.”"

"If that’s the case, you have to find someone where the relationship is more of a gentle carousel motion. No kids ever got sick from that."

Interesting that the article is trying to pull the "Sure you're not the best sex and I'm not as passionate with you as I have been with others... But I swear I wouldn't trade it!"

[–]trudatness 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's like they are taunting us with the AFBB truth and laughing about how easily they are getting away with AFBB.

I can fuck 100 guys and number 101 will still marry me and kowtow to my every whim. Then when I want more alpha cock in my cougar phase I'll dump the loser and gank hundreds of thousands out his life savings... MUAH HA HA

Wow. Sometimes the evil makes me cringe.

[–]aresta4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd like to make a couple points. The type of woman that responds to this type to this type of survey is far more likely to have slept around.

Second, usually when women are asked they will say that emotional fulfillment is what makes sex amazing. So the women that said they didn't marry their best must really not like sex with her husband.

[–]TheUltimatePoet1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

What is AFBB?

All the abbreviations can become a bit frustrating at times, and the glossary from the sidebar is almost never a help. Explain, please!

[–]TheUltimatePoet1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wait, I think it suddenly occurred to me.

Alpha fucks. Beta bucks!

[–]colombia40 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Thanks, I too struggle with the acronyms.

[–]trying2testhumanity2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

AFBB is an initialism. FBI is also an initialism, an acronym is an initialism but when you say it aloud it sounds like a word, such as NASA.

[–]sway_usa 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The rationalization....it's over 9000!

This sentence sacrificed to the comment Gods.

[–]loin_fruit0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol at how many married women I've noticed on tinder lately and what makes it funnier is that their main pic is of them and their husband. What.

[–]HolographicWhaleTail 0 points0 points0 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I swear women have the weirdest logic.

[–]MrArtfulDodger2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

That's the thing...they have little logic when it comes to relationships. They rely on emotions, vagina tingles, and feelings to make their decisions.
