There's a way worse song that made it to mainstream radio recently. James Arthur's Say You Won't Let Go. Every line is absolutely cringeworthy. It's so bad, in fact, that if you take someone that knows absolutely nothing about RP, and have them do the exact opposite of everything in the song, they would be on the fast track to success.

Most pop music classifies as a BP anthem. Hip hop is just about the only genre which consistently and directly defies the dominant narrative. And frankly if it weren't for the fact that it's mostly black dudes rapping, there'd be a major anti-rap campaign going on right now.
