A few days ago, CH ran a post about ellipsis text game, and then another one more recently. Read both links, they're great.

I used it to great effect today.

The text convo started off with me being a bit beta by sort of asking her if I could come. I didn't intend on it being a question as if my coming is dependent on her not being too tired, but it came across as such. Then with her texts saying she would let me know after she got home, I knew that I had gone too beta and it was a shit test. So I remembered CH's words and fired off a [...] text to let her hamster spin a bit and her next response was more to my taste.
