I just keep thinking that somehow the feminist establishment is going to get this banned. My inner cynic just knows a reversible male contraceptive procedure is too good to be true. Sometimes I really hate that guy.

That's completely understandable, and I think a lot of other guys feel the same. However, we'll never know until we get there. This would be huge for men and I'm all for supporting this because birth control really does start with us. Just gotta play the waiting game....or you can travel to India and get the procedure done there if you don't want to wait on the trials and FDA approval.

A urologist that discovered I'd been following RISUG's progress in India made an innocuous comment about 'medical vacations' and how he did not recommend them.

I mean, that's my sack. Letting anyone with a needle near it without knowing for sure that it works? No thanks.

While human trials are ongoing in India, the procedure is not available yet. When I checked it out last year, I was unable to find any indication as to when they plan to go beyond the current 400-man test group. Then again, I don't know a single word of Hindi. That might help.

I mean they've managed to get paternity testing banned in some places. We no longer have the right to know if we're truly a father or not. Its only a short hop and skip to not having a right to control our fertility at all.

Right now its not entirely something they need to worry about because the technology doesnt exist yet to give men reliable non-invasive control over their own fertility, but when it does expect a massive shaming campaign to prevent uptake from men, followed by adding its use to the definition of abuse, similar to how depriving a woman of sex is. Followed by an outright ban.

I don't trust this site. Why would they run the donations through constantcontact.com whatever that is rather than http://www.parsemusfoundation.org/ which also has a donation link.

I don't trust this in the least.
