Actually it's about to be my prom, and I was going to see this girl I like. I hadn't seen her in four months; I'd found RP and had begun to change. She began to notice. We went to this restaurant we both like and once she sat down the exchange went like this.

HER: Hey! How's it been? Wait, first of all save the date, June 20 something, I graduate from the dance academy.

ME: Cool, I'll fit it in my agenda.

HER: I brought you this (She pulls out a Cohiba cigar she brought me from Cuba. I don't even smoke.)

ME: Cool. Wanna go to my prom too?

HER: Of course! (Ten minutes of questioning, writing it down on paper and her cell phone, etc.)

You really don't have to do this whole fucking show, it's just like another date. I see guys make big signs and get shot down hard.

Recently in high school, witnessed a lot of promposals and cringed every time.

[1]:

7/10 (tall, attractive face) guy named Rob asks out a short chubby 5/10, by having a gift sent to her during every period of the day (there are 8 45min periods). Gifts ranged from (flowers, chocolate, cards, etc.)

[2]:

Varsity lacrosse player, pretty attractive dude asks out girlfriend by dressing in a cheer-leading outfit and dancing for her.

Man, i bought a couple prom tickets. they were like $50 a piece, too. My mom told me I NEED to buy them, that I'll really regret it if I don't go to prom, even alone.

Well, they stopped selling prom tickets two weeks before prom, so I sold them to some dumbass for $100 a piece a a few days before "the most important night of our young lives."

Unfortunately, I then wasted the night of the prom working on the DnD campaign I was running...

Can't win 'em all, right?

I'm in highschool right now, and before I found theredpill, for junior prom I went all out to ask my current girlfriend to prom. I bought her a really expensive gift along with the lavish "promposoal" too. I wanted to make her happy and surprise her, and be better than every other guy in the school. How freaking stupid I was lol.

Come this year, I got her asking me to prom. I don't really know why, maybe i instilled dread by not being one of those "yes men" since accepting RPT.

IDK guys. I'm very redpill material, and I must say, there is a time and a place for The grand public display of affection.

It's sort of like, when your girl has been on your arm, supporting your lifestyle standing in the background of your relationship for so long, when suddenly you let her take the center stage for one sanguine moment. It will make her feel special, and contrary to all redpill manuals, that is a very good thing to do once in a while.

This isn't something you should do with a stranger mind you, but with a woman who you are already in a relationship with.
