As someone who has been around this space for 15+ years, I can assure you that equating Red Pill to right-wing ideology has been a Trump-era fad, that has now been swinging back.

And it has been swinging back. Just a few short years ago, you'd get dogpiled just for the audacity to suggest that TRP might not be right wing. It was so proudly and absolutely right-wing, only cuck would claim otherwise. And you're not a cuck, are you? AREYou?

TRP started a-political. And an argument could even be made it begun with a left slant. This is because TRP spun-off from PUA as a more comprehensive alternative to it, when practicians of PUA started thinking past getting their dick wet, and found the works of Rollo, Ester and similar thinkers.

PUA was distinctly left leaning. Because you can't have PUA abundance mentality, if women aren't "empowered" to be promiscuous. Women's sexual liberation is a distinctly liberal left concept. PUA and TRP were about adapting to that new reality.

Then somehow, around the first Trump presidency, Red Pill became mainstream. Women learned about it en masse, and considered it anti-women. Because to them, anything that does not cater exclusively to the needs of women must, by definition, be anti-women. And anything that is anti-women can't possibly be liberal, could it?

So if it's not liberal, it must be the exact opposite. Because for partisan talking heads thinking in black & whit, there is no concept of "apolitical". However, because TRP's idea of relationship management doesn't quite match the straw-man of right-wing conservative Christian authoritarian, who wants to keep women in kitchen, barefoot and pregnant, it got labeled "alt-right" by legacy media instead.

This was TRP's "Eternal September" moment, and led to influx of politically motivated edgelord weirdos, who would have previously been laughed out by the community and told to lurk moar. They came to TRP, not because TRP was a political movement. But because they were told by CNN this is where women-haters and alt-right congregate. A self-fulfilling prophecy.

Did you ever though why it is, that the most prominent thought leaders of TRP from 5-10 years ago all fled the space, and were replaced by regurgitated drivel and screeching about the gbn't taking ur money to gib it to single mums, because you're not buying enough of my shill coin?

That being said, so I don't end up all doom and gloom, ever since the plague ended, I've seen shills and the most extreme political opinions being laughed out of the room. The fact that half of TRP worships, and the other half laughs at the likes of Andrew Tate, is a good thing.
