In the manosphere triad of MRA/PUA/MGTOW, it is commonly the case that on any subject, two will disagree with the third.

TheRedPill is one such situation. TRP is not a pickup artistry sub, although that is perfectly welcome here. Its a pragmatism sub that stands in opposition to the idealism of the well meaning but ultimately misguided posters at /r/mensrights.

We are concerned with THE WAY THE WORLD IS, not their way the world ought be.

As a result MGTOW idealolgy is perfectly welcome in TRP, because TRP is about helping men find the truth of the world we live in, so they can make an informed choice about whether or not to play along with the part society expects of them. For many men, the mgtows, it seems like a bad deal and so they step out, But at least they did so knowingly. They understand the truth, and make a value assement for themselves of whether risks are worth it TO THEM.

The red pill is only concerned with spreading the truth and nothing more.

It is also a form of liberation for men; to be absolved of all expectation from a society which does nothing at all for men.

And it is then hypocritical to lambast red pilled men [MGTOW's] for their choices as they choose to not abide by the system which you deem fit for everyone else.

Red pill is only a source of information for men. What you choose to do with it up to you. Personally I have the utmost respect for MGTOW, Gamers and MRAs.

They have all seen the light and have acted upon it and are not going to let the feminist system run them over.

It's not just semantics, you're missing the point of MGTOW.

These men swallow TRP, see the world for what it is, then decide their purpose in life is so far beyond a woman, there is no room for one.

It's not that they've "given up". It's that they see reality and choose not to abide.

I totally get that. I love writing. Making music. Snowboarding. Surfing.... If my life purpose is to love me and be me, how does a woman in anyway fit into my life given the reality of who they are?

If your life purpose involves getting laid or procreating, then woman in necessary. Otherwise, go your own way.

Agreed. I don't see why anyone who has forsaken women and popular society in general would need to dive this deep into the reality of sexual strategy. If I'm not mistaken, isn't avoiding interaction with women besides what is absolutely necessary the whole point of going your own way?

Obviously a sub about sexual strategy it not going to jive with men who have completely given up on sex and relationships, but I'm not entirely sure that everyone who identifies as MGTOW has done that. Apparently there are four levels of MGTOW, and I'm sure many people on TRP qualify for the first two.

From what I've seen so far, there's overlap between the Big Three, and RP is the middle ground (Haven't wandered into r/seduction myself; no point dividing my attention between two camps before I've got my shit together with this one).

Where RP and MGTOW differ is that one group wants to better arm themselves for the battle because they deem it worthwhile, and the other has chosen not to fight because they don't deem it worthwhile.

Neither are wrong, and there's bound to be people in all three camps who showcase each camp at its best as well at those who showcase it at its worst.

There should be more cooperation between the groups when there's common enemies to be dealt with.

Go tell this to someone who's found the red pill after being raped in divorce court and isn't able to see his kids anymore. Certain men have undergone severe trauma due to women, and a rational response could be to not accept women into one's life again.

The red pill is a set of truths about the way the world works. Whether one uses that for PUA or MGTOW is up to each individual to decide.
