TL ;DR : You already know them

(First post here, english isn't my mother tongue so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated)

We, as individuals, think we are unique and therefore, in order to solve our problems, we would need different and unique solutions.

“I can’t approach this girl because I live in a small city blabla people might recognize me”

WRONG.

“I don’t need to learn how to cook because I have got no time with my new work and blabla I live next to Chipotle.”

WRONG.

“I don’t need lifting, I can seduce a chick solely with my game”

WRONG.

“I’m not made for lifting, I have a unique genetic which prevents me from building muscle”

WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.

If lifting has taught me anything about life, it is without a doubt that I am not unique and that you should stop looking for complex programs designed by some Bradley Martyn or whatever if you want to stop looking like a skinny bastard.

You are a beginner in lifting ? Go Stronglifts or Starting Strength and stick with it. 4-6 months at least. You don’t need anything else. No “pre-exhauts”, no “supersets” and other bs.

The great thing is that this lesson can be applied to almost all aspects of your life

“guys plzz how do you increase your SMV ?” --> lift, clothing, work

“how do I get out of the FZ ? I’m sooo stuck plz" --> don't try. Forget her

“how do I get rich ?” --> look after your spendings, create a business

“how do I stop procrastinating ?” --> keep away from distractions, divide the task into sub-tasks and just start.

Read "The Flinch" by Julien Smith, it's short, concise and gets to the point.

"For anything you want to do, finding out how is easy. [...] Yet every day, you smoke, gain weight, and stay at your old job. [...] The steps to achieving any goal are easy to search for, come up with, write down a napkin, and follow. But you're still not doing it. [...] There's a big X in the equation. Do you know what it is ?

" The X is the flinch."

Taking action is what really prevents you from accomplishing your goal. You already know the plan, you just don't apply it. You expect it to go smoothly, but it doesn't. And never will.
