Every man needs to experience this for himself - in a personal and profoundly shocking way.
No matter how much I knew - game, evolutionary bio, experience with girlfriends - I needed the pain and the subsequent coping cycle to have true acceptance.
Side note: congratulations on not marrying her.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The point of classical education is to read about things so that you dont need to experience them yourself. Anybody who reads Achilles dialogue with Priamos outside the walls of Troy will gain a natural understanding of the general unfairness of the world for example. As someone who learned AWALT the hard way, I wish I didnt and rather found TRP at like 12 years of age.

You can read all you want, but reading has nothing on action and personal experience.

Depends, Physics is mostly unexperienced by the ones that theorize about it. But I would never read a sex-book , those kind of practical skills are better aquired in the field.

Same here. Just got my heart broken by the "love of my life" / unicorn.
Didn't think i needed to game her because she said she loved me from our teenage years. I trusted her completely. When life started getting stressful. I dropped my guard, shared my insecurities and weaknesses
Next thing i know, she is controlling the whole relationship, openly cucking me with another man, and treating me like shit. I became a miserable alcoholic and suicidal.
Later i figured out she probably has borderline personality and that this relationship story is a common pattern for those types.
There's nothing like that experience to teach you that AWALT. Never again.

Yea, yea, yea. Shitty men like me or you find joy in self diagnosing BPD in their shitty women. Nothing to see here, please move along.
Own it, dude. It was you who started drinking and thinking about death. It was you who has not left that relationship.
I guess you were betaized, just like I did. They do that, but it is US who allow them. "Practical Female Psychology" comes to my mind.
[–]ryandiy 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The idea that she has BPD came from a therapist actually, who contributed to the DSM-IV. Not just me trying to point fingers.
I own it. I failed at my responsibility to control my addiction, maintain my happiness, and be the leader in the relationship. I ended the relationship less than 6 weeks ago, and I've been sober ever since. I'm devoting myself full-time to self improvement, thanks in part to finding TRP.
Yes, I was totally betaized. She started pursuing me in the wake of my father dying, and my grief made it was easy for her to take control early on. Things seemed to be going great, even though I knew I wasn't doing the right things to maintain her attraction.
Experiencing a BPD woman in a relationship is a great way to destroy your blue pill delusions forever.

I was 150,000% sure I had met The One, she hated cheaters and was just perfect and we loved each other perfectly. She would tell me how she would rather die than cheat on me, how could anyone do that to someone they love? she would say. That was the tune she sung until the very day I discovered she had been fucking someone else behind my back for 6 MONTHS and even then she denied it and trickle-truthed it for months afterwards, I stayed with her because her story was one basically of being raped so BP me felt bad for her. Oh how naive I was. I treated her perfectly, and you wouldn't believe the people saying "well she would never just cheat like that... YOU must have DONE SOMETHING". Yeah! It's all my fault!! How dare I treat her like a princess! (Now I know better obviously, but back then it was a hard lesson to learn)
Never again, fellas, never again. There does not exist a woman in this world who has not or will never cheat. I know a Christian girl who is now 30 and hasn't even been kissed before because she's waiting for The One, and turns down every guy she deems unworthy (all of them). She wants a loving Christian man with money, good looks and good body, to basically worship her and wait for a few years with no sex before they marry. Hence, 30 years old and never been kissed. Even she, I suspect, is capable of cheating - 5 years with the guy she settled for and she discovers he's not perfect, it's only a matter of time before the eye wanders.
In short, expect to be cheated on and you won't be shocked when it happens. But live every day in fear of it, and try to prevent, and all you'll do is accelerate it happening to you sooner. The things you fear the most often always come true because giving fear to something is almost like giving it power over you.
[–]LordThunderbolt 10 points11 points12 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
When a girl is constantly saying how much she hates cheaters it's because she's aware that she's a cheater but knows that by saying that she'll get the attention away from her. It's kind of like those dudes that are very homophobic but are on the down low, they'll talk serious trash about gay people out of nowhere but then somehow you end up finding out they're gay.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Very good example you used. It's so freaking true though. It's like how Eliot Spitzer was very tough on crime, yet was caught soliciting prostitutes for thousands of dollars.
[–]corsega 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is very true. It's actually a psychological defense mechanism called projection.

YOU must have DONE SOMETHING
I went through that before my divorce. Went around asking divorced women about their experience in divorce, and nearly every single woman (except one who wanted me to rescue her) immediately accused me of being an asshole, of just being bored and wanting to trade her in for a younger model. No, I'm ditching her because I'm working my ass off and she does nothing around the house or bring in money, wants me to clean and bring home takeout so she didn't have to get off the couch.
[–]gjs628 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's likely because for women, many of them see divorce as a huge failure, and what do women do with failure? They hamster the shit out of it so that its someone else's fault. "Oh, you're divorced? Well I'm divorced and I know that it was all my husbands fault, so you must be the asshole in the story; he would come home an hour late after work once in a while so he must've been banging his secretary, not working his ass off so that I can have a cushy lifestyle at home all day. I had no choice but to throw plates and lamps at him! I want a man with money, but who is always around when I want him to be, not working. I want a man with a good body, but who spends all his time with me eating takeaways instead of in the gym! A man who is popular, but never goes out with his friends anymore because I'll throw a strop and won't fuck him for a week afterwards. Hell, it makes me so sexually frustrated sometimes, I have no choice but to go out 3 nights a week with the girls and fuck random guys I meet! So you see, it's all my husbands fault, it can't possibly be mine!!"
If I had £1 for every woman I've met who thinks this way, I'd be able to buy Britain and kick the Brexit off 10 minutes from now.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah it's a very common tactic. If there isn't anything glaring to be used, such as physical abuse, a woman will often resort to 'he was neglectful, an asshole, always put me down, stopped wanting to do fun things, mental abuse etc etc. I cannot tell you how many times ive heard variations of those excuses. And virtually every single time, people are more sympathetic to the gal if they don't have any insider knowledge or insight into who the person really is. If she has good standing with people and puts on a good face, you will not win in the aftermath. Sad but true.
this is pretty much my stance on the whole thing. It helps that i dont want a serious marriage or kids though. I have no clue what i'd do if I wanted those things...seems like a really fucked situation to be in and I sympathize with men who want to raise a family.

If you can expect to be cheated, what's the point in not cheating?
[–]gjs628 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
The idea is that, instead of dismissing it as an impossibility and closing your eyes to it ever happening, all that means is that when it does happen, it'll hit you really hard. But accept that it's a statistical likelihood and run your relationship the best way you can, using as many RP principles as possible, and be happy knowing that it can still happen but the chances are being greatly reduced because she'll have less and less reason to cheat. I don't think my wife will cheat on me, I only think she could cheat on me and I likely would never find out about it if she didn't want me to. But why stress about something I have no control over? I'm already doing the best I can in my relationship and thanks to RP I'm now doing even better.
[–]TheReformist94 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I fully understand where you are coming from and agree, but if its statistically likely they'll cheat, why deny yourself the urge when you want to fuck someone else? Why sacrifice your polygamy if its a matter of time until she employs her hypergamy? Because they are operating in a serial monogamous fashion, by remaining faithful, you are operating according to their frame
[–]NeoreactionSafe 35 points36 points37 points 10 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Here is a good test...
Suppose you know where your girlfriend lives. Try showing up one day unannounced and see her reaction. (have a plausible cover story of course)
If she seems freaked out by that and suggests that's an invasion of her privacy then she doesn't worship you.
Think of a puppy.
If you can home (from work) in the middle of the day when they didn't expect you to be there the puppy will be wildly excited to see you.
This is authentic love coming up from a puppy to it's owner.
If a woman isn't excited to be near you at all times then she is scheming and plotting acts of Hypergamy.
[–]OverDragon42 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Damn dude I never thought of that
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
see, i dont neccesarily agree. Sometimes it's nice to have privacy and if my girlfriend was pulling that shit i'd get annoyed fast.

Just because a woman is intelligent and career oriented, and exceptional in other aspects, it is all the same shit. I met a woman who was business executive. Of course, while talking we both said we wanted a relationship and not a fling and such. So of course on the second date we fuck each other's brains out. Then she moves to a new city and goes radio dark on me. Ok fine, sometimes and ONS will happen that way. Well, a bit over a year later I stumble on her Facebook page and the profile picture has her, her new husband, and their baby. I suppose there is the off chance that she was legit, passed on me, found a new guy almost instantly and then within a few months was married a pregnant, but come on.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There were a couple of times where she, "couldn't make it" to a date because she was "volunteering/had some errands to run/etc/" . I felt like she was lying, but I told myself she couldn't be. I'd say, "there's NO way she's off with another guy" or, "maybe she IS too busy".
She was volunteering her pussy to Chad.

Everyone does it.
What people yave to understand is that AWALT is NOT a judgement of character or goodness or whatever. A girl can act like Madre Teresa her whole life. She might even never ever from the day she is born to the day she dies does nothing wrong morally and not even think it. Still, AWALT. AWALT because it simply means all women are hypergamous and utilitarian, as those are traits inherent to their brain, and the negative things we associate with AWALT are mere consequences of those inherent brain characteristics.
To doubt AWALT is not to doubt there wasn't one woman in the world that never acted "bad", is to say that AMHYC (All Men Have Y Chromosome) is not true... wait, what Mr. SJW,gou can be a man wborn woman LGBTQQHGHen?
yes, it's biologically rooted. And there is scientific research to support the hypergamous nature of the female gender. It's an undeniable fact, and the sooner men realize this, the better their lives will be.

I mean personal politics have nothing to do with the way people actually run their life. I'm an extremely conservative guy and here I am, a loyal red-piller.

[–]FALCONFX007 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Are as accomplished as her and is the guy she left you for mor accomplished as him? If not you did it to yourself. A woman just wont marry a man that lesser or thinks he is lesser than her
[–]gghavoc 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I've always found that those who are critical of a particular behavior/trait, do that because they are guilty of it and have usually hidden it. Although I don't want to pile on the guy, but Cosby is the perfect example. There are no "good" girls, if they are over 18. They've had their share of "fun", so take it as you would a rental vehicle from the airport. You know it's been used by at least a few people, so why would you give them everything in exchange for used equipment?
AWALT. I believe it is a sign of retardation if you cannot understand simple concepts. Following simple instructions is one way to out someone like that. I used to think "what an asshole way of viewing things" but its true.
AWALT means that. Not "I think I've found the one whos different" shit.

OP, could you please edit your post to remove the first two words,
Ok so
You sound like a woman trying to address an audience. In fact, you should probably just delete the entire first paragraph. You don't need to complement TRP as if it's some cheap whore. Just say what you want to say without the histrionics.

I have found this perfect, perfect uniform, I'm very happy and I'm sure she'll never cheat on me!
Ok now seriously, I'm in a relationship with a girl I've so far deemed worthy of bearing my children. She's pretty cool and I think I can say I love her. Of course, I also made her know that any alleged kids we have together will be paternity-tested.
I want to raise a family, as long as the kids she pops are mine...
Do I hope she won't cheat on me? Yes. Am I counting on it? Hell no! I will admit that deep down there is some BP Disney dream here. I also wish I could fly or breathe underwater, I treat al these dreams the same - not gonna happen.
AWALT is of utmost importance. Never forget it. Even when you meet a girl that makes you wish it weren't true. AWALT.
EDIT: I live in a country where paternity and divorce laws don't fuck men in the ass

[–]0kool74 -3 points-2 points-1 points 10 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Point is, she's the type of girl I thought WASNT like all women. In particular, I didn't think she was hypergamous simply because I didn't think she "had it in her" to be. I thought she was different, a conservative "good girl" that held herself to some kind of higher standard
Two years of the red pill and something this basic slipped past you? Hmmmmm.......methinks you might wanna start over at square 1 brah
[–]chocolate_thundr 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
After 2 years of reading up on TRP doesn't mean you equate all the women you know in your life to things like AWALT or hypergamy or whatever, you want to see if it's for real. It's not until you experience this shit for yourself, right in front of you, there in the flesh, that you really start to believe in it. This is an experience that has solidified my belief, and now my acceptance of TRP. I posted my story not as a way to express my feelings, but in an effort to solidify others' belief in TRP, to say, THIS SHIT IS REAL. Every critical thinker has his doubts until those doubts can be reprimanded through their own experience, their own due diligence. So no, I don't need start back at square one brah
[–]0kool74 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
as soon as you start thinking that "one" is not like all the others, that's where you go off tha rails......brah. men need to change their default perception and start on the premise that "they're ALL like that." That way when you encounter one that isn't, and that has PROVEN that she isn't, you know you got yaself a good catch.
[–]cleverley1986 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
you contradict yourself. the ONE that proves herself? that's just a shark that hasn't eaten someone yet.
[–]chocolate_thundr 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I learned that a woman that "is not like that" only seems that way, or is not a woman. Point is, one must accept AWALT, that there are no exceptions to the law and go from there. If she has submitted to you, that doesn't mean she won't bite you later on. A shark is nothing more than a shark and should be treated as such.
